The long awaited getaway to Thailand, dreamt of by millions of people across the world, is finally becoming a reality with the country officially reopening to international travelers from the 1st of November 2021. Fully vaccinated travelers from 63 countries can now visit Thailand without quarantine, bringing the world even closer to Thailand’s lush landscapes, sparkling beaches, renowned food, and hospitable locals.

Fully vaccinated travelers from 63 countries and territories can visit Thailand without any quarantine, while the Sandbox program allows for fully vaccinated travelers from all other countries to travel throughout Thailand following a 7-night stay at a SHA+ certified hotel located in one of the 17 ‘Blue Zone’ provinces such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, Phang Nga and Koh Samui.

Exemption from Quarantine (Test and Go) Conditions

Exempted from quarantine after testing negative for COVID-19 (RT-PCR) after arrival in Thailand

Travel from a port of departure in eligible country / territory and have stayed in eligible countries / territories for at least 21 consecutive days – see list of eligible countries/territories below

Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before traveling

Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before traveling

Documents: Passport; Thai Visa (if required); Certificate of Vaccination; Paid AQ / SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation (for the duration of 1 day and including the fee for one RT-PCR test); Insurance with minimum coverage of $50,000 USD.

Obtain a negative COVID-19 test result (RT-PCR), issued within 72 hours before traveling

Documents: Passport; Thai Visa (if required); Certificate of Vaccination; Paid SHA+ hotel reservation confirmation throughout the 7 days period (including the fee for RT-PCR test and Antigen Self-test Kit); Insurance with minimum coverage of 50,000 USD
