The hand-built M139 AMG 2.0-liter turbocharged engine gives 416 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, allowing acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. It uses electric exhaust gas turbocharger technology from Formula 1™ for quick throttle response. The turbocharger is powered by the 48-volt electrical system, which also supports functions like gliding and recuperation for better efficiency and comfort.

The electric exhaust gas turbocharger works similarly to the one used by the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team. It improves throttle response and increases torque at low rpms, enhancing agility and acceleration. Even when the driver lifts off the accelerator or brakes, the technology maintains boost pressure for a direct response.

The AMG SPEEDSHIFT® MCT 9G transmission has a wet start-off clutch instead of a torque converter, reducing weight and improving response. It ensures short shift times and quick downshifts when needed, enhancing the driving experience. The AIRPANEL active air control system and retractable rear spoiler improve aerodynamics. The active components adjust based on various parameters like temperature and driving conditions to optimize performance and efficiency.

The AMG GT 43 comes with AMG steel spring suspension as standard, providing high performance and lightweight construction. The suspension system improves cornering speeds and stability, ensuring excellent driving dynamics.  To further reduce weight, suspension components are made of forged aluminum. The lightweight coil springs are specially tempered for lower weight without compromising performance. Torsion bar stabilizers with variable wall thickness reduce weight while maintaining strength.

The latest AMG RIDE CONTROL adaptive damping system adjusts damping force for each wheel based on driving conditions. It offers different driving modes for a customizable experience.  The AMG high-performance composite brake system provides precise control and excellent deceleration. Composite brake discs reduce unsprung mass, improving driving dynamics.

The AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs offer a wide range of driving characteristics, from comfortable to dynamic. The AMG DYNAMICS system enhances stability and agility during cornering.  The exterior design of the AMG GT 43 features unique details, including a redesigned front fascia and rear spoiler. The long wheelbase and short overhangs give it a powerful appearance, while the EASY PACK trunk lid with HANDSFREE ACCESS enhances practicality.

Customers can choose from various customization options, including exterior design packages. The interior combines analog geometry with digital technology, focusing on the driver. The MBUX infotainment system offers AMG-specific content and customizable display styles.  Standard features include AMG sports seats in Nappa leather, with optional performance seats for increased lateral support. Interior trim elements are available in various finishes, including carbon fiber and wood. The AMG performance steering wheel is available in different materials and designs.
