The hotel’s guests at Anantara Krasnapolsky can choose from a collection of Anantara-curated bespoke itineraries that have been created in collaboration with flower experts at Tulip Experience Amsterdam. The family business, now in its third generation of tulip-growing, takes visitors on a dynamic journey of discovery, covering everything from the bulb’s Ottoman origins and the fascinating tulip mania that swept through the country in the 17th century to the modern-day growing and harvesting process. The itinerary also allows for ample moments of tranquility to appreciate the delicate beauty of the flower.

Through a private tour, visitors can experience luxury limousine transportation from the historical part of the city, where the hotel is located, to Tulip Experience Amsterdam’s estate situated outside the city. The estate offers vast tulip fields, a show garden showcasing rare varieties, a nursery, a farmer’s market with fresh produce and souvenirs, and a museum featuring a cinema where visitors can learn the story of the bulb through the eyes of a grower using modern-day and pre-1950s cultivation machinery.

Once guests have explored the captivating exhibits, they can immerse themselves in a sea of dancing tulips in the show garden. Over one million plants representing 700 different varieties are blooming at any given time. Guests who book a private tour will have exclusive access to the garden, which is carpeted in eye-popping streaks of fuchsia, orange, and yellow. They will also have the option to enjoy a private Champagne lunch, catered by Anantara’s chefs and served by an Anantara butler, surrounded by a rippling field of flowers.
