FuelFest is returning to Los Angeles with a new partnership with the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) for a day of drag racing and automotive culture. After six successful years of events across the city, this year’s edition will take place at the Pomona Fairplex, located at 1101 W McKinley Ave, on Saturday, June 28. The event will run from 2-9pm, with tickets starting at $35 per person, and children 12 and under attending for free.
FuelFest will feature non-stop action for car enthusiasts of all kinds. With NHRA’s involvement, drivers will have the opportunity to race their own cars on the renowned Pomona dragstrip, which has a long history in the sport. The event will include drag races, drift competitions, fan thrill rides, and interactive experiences for attendees.
Now in its 7th year, FuelFest has grown into a global celebration of automotive culture, with past events held in cities like Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, and Abu Dhabi. The festival will feature more than 600 cars and trucks, including Fast & Furious movie replicas and screen-used vehicles. There will also be a car show, live music performances, and various sponsor exhibits.
New to this year’s event, FuelFest will host judged car show sections, where participants will compete for Best of Show awards. Additionally, there will be exciting displays of nitro drag cars and a special Taste of Tokyo showcase, offering a glimpse into Japan’s underground car culture with unique custom builds.
For those seeking a more exclusive experience, VIP tickets will offer early access, limited-edition merchandise, and the chance to participate in auctions. A portion of the event’s proceeds will benefit Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW), a non-profit founded by the late actor Paul Walker, which supports disaster relief efforts around the world.
