On March 25, 2023, the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai will be participating in Earth Hour, a global movement aimed at raising awareness of climate change, reducing carbon emissions, and preserving the environment. In a symbolic gesture of their dedication to the planet, the resort will turn off all non-essential lights for one hour from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.

Throughout Earth Hour, the resort’s charming surroundings will be illuminated by the soft glow of moonlight, candles, and water lanterns. With all electric lights in public areas either turned off or dimmed, the oceanfront getaway will take on a magical ambiance, creating the perfect setting for meaningful connections and extraordinary discoveries.

The Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai has a variety of thoughtful offerings for guests to participate in the Earth Hour celebrations. These offerings include:

Reflective Rituals: Guests can head to the Reflection Pool at sunset for the Thap Nen Candle Lighting ceremony, where traditional flute melodies accompany the lighting of candles. The Good Night Kiss To The Earth ritual is also available, where guests can float Vietnamese wishing lanterns on the water and meditate to the sounds of crystal singing bowls. These rituals, grounded in gratitude, serve as inspiration for guests to switch off lights in their own villas during Earth Hour.

Lantern Making: On March 24, families can attend a special class to make their own Vietnamese lanterns. Guests can pledge to light their lanterns during Earth Hour and hang them on a tree in the Open Lounge, creating a golden glow that spreads to surrounding areas.

Dine Under the Stars: As the lights are dimmed, the stars above shine brighter than ever. Guests can take a seat under the glittering canopy of stars for a barbeque dinner on Ha My Beach, featuring fresh produce from land and sea.

No-Cook Menu: Cafe Nam Hai offers innovative no-cook specialties all day on March 25, paying homage to the wonderful possibilities of raw ingredients. Chef John Oh’s Earth Hour menu includes Seabass Ceviche, Vegan Lasagna with Zucchini, and Caprese Salad with Buffalo Mozzarella.

Street Food Night: La Sen transports guests to the vibrant streets of Hoi An, complete with wooden pushcarts and bamboo baskets. Glimmering candles set the stage for an evening of culinary exploration, featuring more than fifty homegrown specialties crafted exclusively with ingredients from Central Vietnam. Local musicians provide live acoustic music for guests to enjoy between their culinary adventures.
