The People of Tomorrow have arrived from every corner of the globe to celebrate the opening day of Tomorrowland Brasil 2025, set in the breathtaking Parque Maeda in Itu, São Paulo. Once again, Tomorrowland has transformed this lush expanse into a world where sound, light, and imagination intertwine.
As always, the festival’s magic begins with its stages, each one a meticulously crafted world with its own pulse and personality. From big room to (hard) techno, psytrance, house, drum & bass, and hardstyle, each genre finds its perfect visual and sonic pairing. Every corner of the festival is designed for movement, connection, and transcendence.
At the core of Tomorrowland Brasil stands the magnificent ‘LIFE’ Mainstage, the centerpiece and beating heart of the festival. Set in the mythical realm of Silvyra, this story-driven stage immerses festivalgoers in a world alive with creatures, lush vegetation, and vibrant communities. The stage’s design embodies the diversity of Silvyra’s ecosystem and acts as a prequel to the 2016 “Elixir of Life” theme, tracing the origins of the fabled potion that heals mind and body.
The narrative unveils the birth of the Mother Tree, her guardian the Maze, and the creation of the Rose Garden—all foundational symbols of Tomorrowland lore. The ‘LIFE’ Mainstage represents the genesis of these legends, powered by the cosmic energy that fuels Tomorrowland’s universe.
Handcrafted over two years by Tomorrowland’s in-house creative team, the stage is a masterclass in design and engineering. First unveiled during the festival’s 20th-anniversary edition in Belgium in 2024, it has now found a new home in Brazil, radiating artistry, emotion, and the unifying spirit of dance music.
Opening day performances set the tone for the weekend, featuring an all-star roster: Agents Of Time, Armin van Buuren, Bruno Be b2b Kiko Franco, Camila Jun, David Guetta, deadmau5, DubVision b2b Matisse & Sadko b2b Third Party, John Newman, Maddix, NERVO, and Zerb.
Closing the day, David Guetta returned to Tomorrowland Brasil for the first time since 2016, delivering an explosive headline set filled with high-energy drops, anthemic moments, and the live premiere of his new track “Gone Gone Gone.”
The Freedom Stage by Budweiser once again transported festivalgoers into a massive indoor clubscape of dazzling LEDs, giant dragonflies, and kinetic lighting. Engineered as an immersive audiovisual playground, the stage hosted performances by Bigfett, Cassian, KASIA, Miss Monique, Olympe, RUBACK, and Vintage Culture, each blending cutting-edge underground sounds with breathtaking visual precision.
Making its Brazilian debut, the Crystal Garden brought a new layer of enchantment to Tomorrowland Brasil. This open-air haven, one of the most cherished stages from the Belgian edition, offered a sunlit escape filled with organic beauty and euphoric house beats.
Day one featured legendary house icon Green Velvet alongside Arodes, Curol, DJ Tennis, Samm, and others. Day two carried the momentum with James Hype, Max Styler, Meduza, Fatsync, Gabe b2b Roddy Lima, and more. With its vibrant design and natural atmosphere, the Crystal Garden became the perfect destination for ravers chasing the groove of house in all its forms, from deep and underground to peak-time euphoria.
No Tomorrowland experience is complete without CORE, the festival’s iconic fusion of music, technology, and nature. Nestled amid Parque Maeda’s natural beauty, the CORE stage enveloped ravers in a multi-sensory journey of light, scent, sound, and organic textures.
The stage’s rocky architecture intertwined with cascading water and vegetation, reflecting Tomorrowland’s devotion to harmony between design and nature. Under daylight, it exuded tranquility; as night descended, lasers and projections transformed it into a cathedral of techno dreams.
Performances by ANNA, Dino Lenny, Konstantin Sibold, and Mind Against guided the crowd through waves of hypnotic energy, reaffirming CORE’s reputation as a sanctuary for lovers of alternative house and techno.
As Tomorrowland expands its horizons, CORE is also going global, set to appear in Colombia (Medellín), the United States (Los Angeles), and Australia (Melbourne) in 2026.
Another highlight of the 2025 edition was the Morpho stage, making its world debut in Brazil. Inspired by the dragonfly-themed stage from Tomorrowland’s Ushuaïa Ibiza residency in 2024, Morpho’s design merges natural motifs with futuristic geometry.
Day one closed with a thunderous performance by Belgian hard dance sensation MANDY, whose high-octane energy and fierce stage presence electrified the crowd. Across the weekend, the stage featured a stellar lineup including DubVision, Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, Matisse & Sadko, Third Party, and Brazilian stars Liu, KVSH, Bruno Martini, and Pontifexx, fusing international energy with local fire.
The second day of Tomorrowland Brasil 2025 reached new heights when ANNA and Vintage Culture, two of Brazil’s biggest electronic music icons, united for a historic back-to-back performance on the ‘LIFE’ Mainstage. Blending ANNA’s hypnotic techno mastery with Vintage Culture’s melodic sensibility, their collaboration became one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.
Other standout performances included Axwell, B Jones, Cat Dealers, Da Tweekaz, Departamento, Dimitri Vegas, Henri PFR, Kevin de Vries, Malive, and Nicky Romero, each contributing to a dynamic second day that showcased Tomorrowland’s global reach and artistic diversity.
Meanwhile, at the Freedom Stage, Reinier Zonneveld closed the night with an acid techno masterclass, joined earlier in the day by Eli Iwasa, Ida Engberg, and Layton Giordani.
Tomorrowland Brasil 2025 once again proved why it stands at the pinnacle of global dance culture, a universe where creativity, technology, and emotion converge. With every beat, laser beam, and smile, Parque Maeda became more than a festival ground—it became a living, breathing symbol of unity, powered by the People of Tomorrow.
