FZN by Björn Frantzén introduces its second seasonal tasting menu, offering a refined fine dining experience in Dubai. As the sister restaurant to the internationally acclaimed, three-Michelin-starred Frantzén in Stockholm and Zén in Singapore, FZN is led by renowned chef Björn Frantzén and showcases modern European cuisine with Japanese influences.

Located in the heart of Dubai, FZN spans two levels of elegant, Scandinavian-inspired interiors. The restaurant offers a nine-course tasting menu, featuring innovative new dishes alongside signature favorites. The culinary journey begins in a stylish lounge area with a selection of canapés, such as the newly added blini with otoro, wasabi, and myoga, as well as classic offerings.

Guests are then invited on a brief guided tour of the space before being seated in the main dining room. The seasonal tasting menu highlights premium ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship, with standout dishes including scallop with fermented apricot and turnip, chawanmushi with smoked beef broth, razor clam, and bafun uni, and turbot with beurre blanc, walnut, and Frantzén’s signature caviar. Popular signature items such as onion with liquorice and almond, and langoustine with koshihikari rice also feature on the menu. A palate cleanser of frozen lingonberry marshmallow with blackcurrant and spruce is served before dessert, which includes matcha waffles with carrot ice cream and pistachios. The meal concludes with petit fours and the restaurant’s signature miso madeleines served back in the lounge.

For those looking to enhance the evening, FZN offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Dubai skyline, ideal for post-dinner drinks. The restaurant has also expanded its wine program to include over 1,600 labels from 15 countries, featuring boutique producers and exclusive wines available in Dubai for the first time. Guests can choose from various beverage pairings, including premium wine pairings, non-alcoholic options, mixed pairings, or selections directly from the cellar.

Since its opening, FZN has received multiple accolades, including “Breakthrough Restaurant of the Year” and “International Brand of the Year” by Gault&Millau UAE, along with a prestigious four-toque rating. The restaurant was also named “Best Tasting Menu of the Year” and “Restaurant of the Year” by Time Out Dubai. Additionally, Star Wine List of the Year recognized FZN with five awards, including “Best Sparkling Wine List,” “Best Long Wine List,” and “Best Newcomer Wine List.”
