This week, the redesigned iPad Air and new iPad Pro, both powered by Apple silicon, are now available. The new iPad Air, now offered in two sizes for the first time and featuring the M2 chip, delivers enhanced performance with a landscape front camera and faster Wi-Fi. The new iPad Pro introduces an Ultra Retina XDR display and the advanced performance of the M4 chip, making it the thinnest Apple product to date. Both the iPad Air and iPad Pro are equipped with a faster CPU, advanced GPU, integrated Neural Engine, unified memory architecture, and intelligent features in iPadOS, enhancing their capabilities in artificial intelligence.

Additionally, new accessories enhance the versatility and functionality of both devices. Both the iPad Air and iPad Pro support the Apple Pencil Pro. The new Smart Folio for iPad Air and Smart Folio for iPad Pro are available in colors that complement their respective finishes.

The iPad Air and iPad Pro join Apple’s lineup of powerful, versatile, and simple iPads. The 11-inch iPad Air starts at $599, while the 13-inch iPad Air is priced at $799, available in blue, purple, starlight, and space gray finishes. The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at $999, and the 13-inch model starts at $1,299, both available in silver and space black finishes.

The iPad Air caters to students, content creators, small businesses, and various other users by offering solid performance, portability, and versatility at a reasonable price. It is now available in a redesigned 11-inch model and a new 13-inch model. Both models feature a Liquid Retina display and the M2 chip, which enhances performance and supports AI applications. The 11-inch model is known for its portability, while the 13-inch model provides more screen space for work, learning, and entertainment. The front-facing Ultra Wide 12MP camera with Center Stage is positioned along the landscape edge for optimal video calls. It also supports Wi-Fi 6E and 5G in cellular models for reliable connectivity. College students and educators can access special pricing, starting at $549 for the 11-inch model and $749 for the 13-inch model, available in stores and online.

The iPad Pro is offered in 13-inch and 11-inch sizes, both featuring an advanced Ultra Retina XDR display with tandem OLED technology for high-quality visuals. The device is powered by the M4 chip, the latest Apple silicon, providing significant performance enhancements and a new display engine for improved color, precision, and brightness. The iPad Pro includes an upgraded CPU, a next-generation GPU from the M3 architecture, and a powerful Neural Engine, making it suitable for AI tasks. The 12MP back camera captures high-quality Smart HDR images and videos with better color, texture, and low-light detail, and the new adaptive True Tone flash improves document scanning.

The Apple Pencil Pro introduces advanced features such as barrel roll, haptic feedback, and squeeze, allowing users to interact with their devices in innovative ways. Developers can also create custom interactions with these features. Additionally, Apple Pencil Pro now supports Find My, aiding users in locating a misplaced stylus. It magnetically pairs, charges, and stores on the side of the new iPad Air and iPad Pro. The iPad Air and iPad Pro also support the Apple Pencil (USB-C), suitable for tasks like note-taking, sketching, annotating, and journaling.

Each iPad model now offers two Apple Pencil options. The new iPad Air and iPad Pro are compatible with both the advanced Apple Pencil Pro and the more affordable Apple Pencil (USB-C). The iPad mini supports the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and Apple Pencil (USB-C), while the iPad (10th generation) works with the Apple Pencil (1st generation) and Apple Pencil (USB-C).

The new, thinner, and lighter Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro features a function row for quick access to controls like screen brightness. It includes an aluminum palm rest and a larger, more responsive trackpad with haptic feedback, offering an experience similar to using a MacBook.

The new Smart Folio for iPad Pro and Smart Folio for iPad Air attach magnetically and support multiple viewing angles. The Smart Folio for iPad Pro is available in black, white, and denim, while the Smart Folio for iPad Air comes in charcoal gray, light violet, denim, and sage, matching the finishes of the respective iPad models.
