Combining two historically significant heritage buildings, NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa merges the Art Nouveau-style New Student House, erected in 1910, with Seurahuone, Helsinki’s oldest continuously operated hotel, initially founded on the market square in 1833 before relocating to its present site in 1913.

Inspired by Europe’s finest hotels, the building has long been a benchmark for accommodation standards, cultural significance, and Helsinki’s social scene. Following meticulous renovation and restoration efforts, it now continues its renowned tradition of hospitality as Finland’s inaugural NH Collection hotel, seamlessly blending its rich heritage with contemporary sophistication to cater to the discerning modern traveler.

Nestled within its historic confines, the hotel boasts 224 guest rooms and suites, including an extravagant 1,722 sq. ft. Presidential Suite, ensuring guests a blend of comfort, convenience, and contemporary luxury. Strategically positioned in the city center, it offers easy access to Helsinki’s Central Railway Station, just a brief stroll away, connecting travelers to Helsinki Airport. Moreover, situated on one of the city’s bustling shopping streets, NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa is within walking distance of cultural landmarks such as the Amos Rex art museum, Ateneum, Kiasma, and an array of fine dining establishments.

At NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa, the culinary experience is a focal point, blending classic French cuisine with locally sourced ingredients. The Hansa Café Bar & Brasserie beckons both locals and travelers to explore the region’s flavors.

For those seeking elevated libations, Kupoli bar awaits in the historic dome-shaped tower, offering a panoramic view of the city. Scheduled to open in August 2024, it promises a carefully curated selection of cocktails.

The hotel’s spa pays homage to Finnish wellness traditions, offering modern interpretations of age-old treatments. Guests can indulge in Finnish sauna rituals, steam baths, infra-red saunas, and utilize the spacious gym spanning over 3,329 sq. ft. Guided sauna experiences and wellness treatments are available upon request.

Boasting over 7,534 sq. ft. of event space and nine fully equipped meeting rooms, NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa accommodates a variety of gatherings, from client presentations to family celebrations. Notably, the historic Ballroom, a venue with a rich legacy dating back to the early 20th century, stands out as an impressive setting for prestigious events.
