La Dolce Vita Orient Express announces today that sales will officially start this April, which is a big step for a special travel experience in Italy. The announcement was made at the DUCO Travel Summit in Milan, Italy. They showed a model cabin of the train and introduced Samy Ghachem as the new General Manager. This comes after a successful pre-sales period in December 2022, where 400 cabins were pre-booked. La Dolce Vita Orient Express is the first Orient Express experience made with Arsenale and supported by Trenitalia Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato and Fondazione Fs e Treni Turistici Italiani. La Dolce Vita Orient Express is about life, freedom, indulgence, and pleasure. Travelers can feel the spirit of the 1960s while exploring Italy from their cabins and suites. There are nine journeys filled with luxury, culture, and history, starting in Spring 2025.

The train honors the “La Dolce Vita” years and the artistic and cultural energy of Italy in the 1960s. It combines the Italian lifestyle with modern travel. There are 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites, a special “La Dolce Vita” suite, and a restaurant, lounge, and bar, all inspired by the 1960s and 1970s.

Travelers can choose from nine itineraries, each showing off different parts of Italy:
