OnePlus has revealed that their highly anticipated launch event for the OnePlus 12 is set to happen on January 23, 2024, in New Delhi. The OnePlus 12 aims to be the top-tier smartphone of 2024, introducing new industry standards. Let’s explore what is currently known about the OnePlus 12.

The phone will feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, with OnePlus collaborating closely with Qualcomm to maximize its capabilities. This includes advanced features like refined CPU-Vitalization, updated Qualcomm® Game Quick Touch 2.0, and enhanced AI performance. To ensure a seamless experience without overheating, the OnePlus 12 will have a cutting-edge Dual Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System.

OnePlus continues to lead in fast charging technology, confirming a robust 5400mAh battery with 100W SUPERVOOC fast charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. The OnePlus 12 is breaking records by offering an impressive Day of Use (DoU) of up to 47 hours with just 26 minutes of charging. The 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging can take the phone from 1% to 50% in just 23 minutes, surpassing competitors priced over $1,000.

The display also received TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification.

The OnePlus 12 will sport a 4th Gen Hasselblad Camera for Mobile, featuring a 50MP Sony’s LYT-808 wide-angle camera and a 64MP OV64B 3X periscope telephoto camera. These cameras ensure exceptional performance in various lighting conditions and offer up to 120X Hybrid Zoom.

For those interested in the launch event, OnePlus will be live-streaming it on their YouTube channel starting at 19:30 PM IST on January 23, 2024.
