In a joint announcement today, Sphere Entertainment Co. and the FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN SILVER LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX revealed new insights into the exclusive custom Grand Prix™ content crafted by Sphere Studios. This content will be showcased on Sphere’s Exosphere, the world’s largest LED screen, during Las Vegas’ inaugural race weekend. Recognized globally for its dynamic visuals and captivating content, the Exosphere will play a central role in celebrating the event.

The race festivities commenced with The Netflix Cup on the official Race Week kick-off yesterday. Notably, this marked the Exosphere’s first live response to a sporting event. As the Las Vegas Grand Prix unfolds on Saturday, November 18, Sphere Studios’ exclusive content will be live-cued, featuring real-time pole position updates and a unique podium moment celebrating the race winner.

Throughout the week, fans can enjoy F1 content on the Exosphere, including larger-than-life driver cards showcasing all 20 drivers and their cars, as well as iconic F1 helmets serving as backdrops for fan photos. Exclusive content, including opportunities for fans to see themselves on Sphere, will be unveiled during the race.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix represents Sphere’s debut as part of the official broadcast during a live event, reaching millions of F1 fans globally. Positioned strategically along the track, the Exosphere will be visible from various angles, including from above. Custom Exosphere content during race week will be optimized for a bird’s eye view of the track and venue.

In addition to the Grand Prix content, some of the world’s leading brands will showcase advertisements on the Exosphere as part of their partnership with the event. Notable brands include American Express, Aristocrat, Aston Martin, Body Armor, Google Chrome, Heineken, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Mercedes Benz, Netflix, Paramount+, Pirelli, Puma, Salesforce, T-Mobile, and Virgin Hotels.

The Exosphere, the largest LED screen globally, boasts approximately 1.2 million LED pucks spaced eight inches apart. Each puck contains 48 individual LED diodes capable of displaying 256 million different colors, creating a vibrant landmark on the Las Vegas skyline and, now, on the Las Vegas Grand Prix racetrack.

Sphere also serves as the T-Mobile Zone at Sphere on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, with the race winding around Sphere at turns five through nine.
