Pininfarina and the luxury brand INKAR announce a collaboration to create an exclusive limited edition of iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro covers.  The cases were inspired by the Pininfarina Modulo, a legendary concept car, an icon and a milestone in the history of Pininfarina. It made its world debut at the 1970 Geneva Motor Show and it won 22 international design awards.

This first collaboration with INKAR sees the creation of a limited edition of only ninety-nine iPhone cases for 13 Pro and 14 Pro each. Among the ninety-nine cases, five were distinguished by exclusive redline silver cases, hand drawn by Italian artisans, giving life to a super exclusive five pieces edition in the context of a limited series.

The cases will be available via online stores on 1st December 2022. These cases are the very first iPhone cases designed by Pininfarina in its history, with full customization. Each case has a serial number engraved on it. Materials are selected, including the sustainable solution of using dead-stock leathers of renowned Pininfarina automobiles.

Pininfarina design team has beautifully recreated the detailed design of Pininfarina Modulo into the cases, such as its 24 holes in the engine cover, its elegant and unprecedented line, and its delicate yet strong redline. The cases are carefully crafted one by one in Italy, at one of the finest factories that produce luxury goods using the latest technology. During the two-year development period, the details were honed to 0.1mm.

For customization, there are five colors, two lens leathers, and ten plates made of leathers, natural wood, carbon fiber, and aluminum, available for customers to select from. As a certificate of these exclusive cases, an NFT will be issued per each case. This will also serve as an exclusive membership that will grant pre-order opportunities for upcoming INKAR collaborations.
