Three new openings from ibis Hotels in UK, including UK’s first ice cream themed hotel

With staycations on the rise this year, the new openings are ideally timed for affordable UK getaways, all situated in a prime, easily accessible locations and suitable for solo travelers, couples, groups and families.  Here are three new openings from ibis including the UK’s first ice cream themed hotel.

Opened on June 25, 2021 – Ibis Styles Bournemouth

Ibis Styles Bournemouth is UK’s first ice cream themed hotel, located on Bournemouth’s beachfront.  The hotel creative design features delicious yet bold palette of ice cream shades.  Ibis Styles Bournemouth also house its own ice cream station.  Bedrooms come in three delicious styles: Mint Choc Chip, Tutti Frutti, and Very Berry, while ‘hundreds-and-thousands’ scattered corridor carpets and waves of color mimicking sundae swirls of the syrup can be found throughout.

Ibis Styles Seven Kings is a botanical themed ibis Styles hotel, inspired by the nearby Valentines Park.  The hotel décor is themed around nature with a living foyer decked out with plants and a rooftop garden for guests to relax in.  ibis Styles Seven Kings is BREEAM-compliant, meaning it is committed to sustainability and guests can feel safe in the knowledge their stay is responsible and sustainable. The hotel has a number of eco-friendly attributes such as charging stations for electric vehicles, secure bike storage, energy saving lights as well as a water conservation program.  The hotel is also ideal for business travel due to the easy transport links, within the hotel there is a 12-person meeting room.

Ibis London Sutton Point features functional design and plaza concept rooms.  Located in the heart of Sutton, the hotel is a stylish new economy hotel.  The hotel will offer 99 brand new plaza concept rooms with a simplified and functional design and soundproofing to ensure guests get a good night’s sleep.  Located just a three-minute walk from Sutton train station, a 30-minute train ride from Victoria, meaning guests can easily enjoy a London staycation whist also being able to enjoy the surrounding nature, as ibis London Sutton Point is only 11 miles away from Surrey Hills Area, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The hotel is also perfect for guests looking for a short stop over as Gatwick airport is only a 30-minute drive and Heathrow is a 45-minute drive.
