Banana Republic has officially launched an exclusive capsule collection in collaboration with renowned fashion designer Peter Do. In a joint celebration of their shared commitment to thoughtful dressing, the two iconic American brands have curated a collection that centers around versatile, high-quality pieces, emphasizing impeccable tailoring and craftsmanship—core elements embedded in the design DNA of both Banana Republic and Peter Do.

Conceived by Peter Do and drawing inspiration from Banana Republic’s archives, this 28-piece capsule collection offers a fresh perspective on American clothing. It introduces ready-to-wear styles and accessories that are both versatile and gender-inclusive, all presented in Peter Do’s signature neutral color palette and embodied in Banana Republic’s timeless silhouettes.

The collection boasts transformative outerwear, featuring standout pieces like the Detachable Pleated Trench, City Coat, and Detachable Utility Trench. Key tailoring essentials, including the Leather Utility Shirt, Tuxedo Utility Blazer, and Tuxedo Drill Trousers, are complemented by layering items such as the Utility Dress, Detachable Turtleneck Sweater, Artisan Tunic, Sweater Tanks, and Convertible Sweater Vest. Accessories, including silk scarves and a leather belt bag, round out the comprehensive offering.

To infuse Peter Do’s New York sensibility into Banana Republic’s classic styles, a monochromatic vintage map of Brooklyn takes center stage on pieces like the Utility Shirt, Utility Dress, Reworked Authentic Tee, and Printed Silk Scarf. Playfulness meets sophistication with a whimsical banana sketch adorning the Intarsia Sweater, Reworked Authentic Tee, and Printed Silk Scarf. The collection embraces mixed-media elements, with leather patches on knits and jackets, a leather and suede button-down shirt, and a removable shearling collar for the Detachable Utility Trench, adding both texture and dimension.
