BTS continues to operate on a level that transcends music charts and fan culture. HYBE and Trafalgar Releasing have announced that BTS MOVIE WEEKS has surpassed $10 million at the global box office, solidifying the group’s position not just as pop superstars but as cultural architects shaping the future of entertainment.

Presented across more than 2,700 cinemas in 80 territories, the cinematic showcase was more than a screening series—it was a global celebration. Theaters became gathering spaces, foyers turned into gallery-style fan hubs, and audiences transformed cinema seating into immersive concert environments. ARMY arrived in full force, lightsticks glowing, designer fan merch in hand, creating an atmosphere that felt closer to a world tour than a night at the movies.

A Cultural Force in Motion

Since debuting in 2013, BTS—RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook—has redefined entertainment as a full-spectrum lifestyle influence. The group has topped the Billboard Hot 100 six times, performed to sold-out stadiums across continents, spoken on global stages such as the United Nations, and partnered with major global initiatives like the LOVE MYSELF campaign with UNICEF. Their artistry, authenticity and message-driven storytelling have earned them five GRAMMY nominations and the title of TIME’s Entertainer of the Year.

Following their reunification in June 2025 after the completion of military service, BTS is set to release new music in spring 2026. The announcement has already ignited a cultural countdown that spans continents and industries.

Setting the Stage for 2026

This festival marks the third collaboration between HYBE and Trafalgar Releasing and the first truly global rollout of this format. Previous editions in Latin America and Asia were region-specific, but BTS MOVIE WEEKS elevated the experience to a global level, blending cinematic luxury with fan-driven immersion.

With its $10 million box office milestone, BTS MOVIE WEEKS has done more than celebrate BTS’s past achievements—it has set the tone for their next chapter. As BTS prepares to return with new music in 2026, the world is not simply anticipating a comeback. It is preparing for a cultural reset.
