Cao Fei, the Chinese multimedia visionary behind BMW Art Car 18, first shook the art world in 2017 when she transformed a BMW M6 GT3 into a portal between physical and virtual realities. Her creation marked the first digital Art Car in the brand’s history and pushed the series straight into the hyperconnected future.
Her original concept lives again in this capsule. It’s a wardrobe built like a parallel universe. AR driven graphics, tech inspired touches, and glow in the dark accents evoke the electric pulse of China’s fast shifting digital landscape. Chengdu’s M Festival gathered thousands of BMW M fanatics celebrating performance heritage and pure horsepower.
