TRACE Restaurant & Bar at Element Kuala Lumpur introduces its latest seasonal buffet and high tea curations, available from now through the end of June.

This spring, the culinary team presents the “Dulang & Saji’ High Tea as a delightful homage to the unique and vibrant Malay customs. In curation of the latest high tea offering, the team has drawn inspiration from traditional practices of their “kampong where food is presented on “dulang” trays and kept under “tudung saji” before serving. Guests can indulge in the Harum Salsa Nyonya Pie Tee derived from the Peranakan heritage, followed by the Rojak Tonggek Penang, as well as the Oriental Style Crab Stick Siew Mai & Charcoal Dumplings served in a bamboo steamer. The high tea journey continues with other savories like Highlanders Borneo-inspired Grilled Chicken Lollipop Kundasang style, Grilled Prawn Madu Manic Gurih, and bitesize Sardine & Cheese Mini Brioche Sandwich.

Moving on to the second “dulang”, patrons will find sweet offerings, including Durian cream puffs and jackfruit cheese tarts. They can further entice their palate with Chilled Tau Fu Fa with Palm Sugar and Onde Onde Mousse, before concluding the experience with the vibrant flavors of Sarawak’s Signature Kek Lapis, paired with refreshing Buko Pandan.
