Last night, the grand opening of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo was celebrated with a magical red carpet event. The occasion was attended by Harry Potter actors Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), who joined local stars to commemorate the event.

Actor Tom Felton, renowned for his portrayal of Harry Potter’s nemesis, Draco Malfoy, returned to the Studio Tour this morning for the official opening ceremony. He was accompanied by Yuriko Koike, the Governor of Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Kazushige Tanaka, the Director-General of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Rumi Furuya, the Commissioner of the Bureau of Construction. Together, they cast the ‘alohamora’ spell, officially welcoming guests to the Studio Tour.
Having opened for the first time in Tokyo, the brand-new Studio Tour invited fans to step onto breathtaking sets, including the iconic Great Hall at Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, and the Forbidden Forest. There, they could marvel at exquisite costumes and come face to face with magical creatures while uncovering filmmaking secrets. Engaging in a variety of fun activities, fans rode broomsticks, savored refreshing Butterbeer, appeared in moving portraits within the halls of Hogwarts, immersed themselves in the excitement of a Quidditch game, and explored a vast selection of products, many of which were exclusive to Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo.
Moreover, the Studio Tour boasted the largest Harry Potter shop in the world. With 14 themed sections adorned with over 7,000 bespoke and specially sourced props, the shop’s design drew inspiration from the charming stores found on Diagon Alley, such as Honeydukes, Ollivanders, and Flourish and Blotts. Visitors delighted in a wide range of products, specifically developed for Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo. Additionally, the attraction offered a choice of restaurants and cafés that served a delightful array of traditional British cuisine, including fish and chips, roast beef, English breakfast, and Afternoon Tea.
