Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the behind-the-scenes production of the renowned film series “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts.” The tour showcases various iconic sets, including the Hogwarts Express, the Great Hall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the Ministry of Magic, and Diagon Alley. To enhance the magical experience, an enticing food menu is now available.
Within the facility, there are four establishments: Food Hall, Chocolate Frog Cafe, Backlot Cafe, and Butterbeer Bar. Each of these venues offers a diverse food menu that reflects the enchanting world of Harry Potter.
The Food Hall, located near the entrance of Studio Tour Tokyo, features a blue-themed interior and serves breakfast and lunch, featuring traditional British dishes. One of the highlights is the “Platform 9 3⁄4 All Day Breakfast,” which showcases the striking logo of Platform 9 3⁄4 on cheese toast. This delightful plate consists of fried eggs, bacon, salad, and other components, reminiscent of a classic English breakfast.
The Backlot Cafe, situated midway through the Studio Tour, invites visitors to indulge in quick bites and delectable sweets. Its interior is adorned with pots of mandrakes, the magical plants known for their use in potion-making and their lethal scream when uprooted, as well as bottles containing medicinal herbs.
Guests can partake in a British tradition by savoring a Professor Umbridge-inspired Afternoon Tea, complete with an array of magical sweet treats. This delightful experience takes place in the Backlot Cafe, offering a pleasant break during the Studio Tour.
Please note that Afternoon Tea at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo is available for purchase on the day of the visit, subject to availability, and cannot be booked in advance. Each table is allocated a 90-minute timeslot, or 60 minutes for drinks.
Among the menu offerings at the Backlot Cafe, the “Hedwig cake” garners special attention, as it faithfully replicates Harry Potter’s beloved pet owl, Hedwig. The cake, featuring a charming gold birdcage housing the adorable Hedwig, is accompanied by a figure resembling Harry himself. Fans of “Harry Potter,” both young and old, are sure to find this enchanting creation thrilling.
Additionally, the Backlot Cafe offers themed plates representing the four dormitories: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. The “Gryffindor’s Plate (Roast Beef)” recreates Harry’s memorable first meal at Hogwarts, while the “Hufflepuff’s Plate (Roast Chicken)” draws inspiration from Professor Sprout, the head of the Hufflepuff Dormitory and a skilled herbalist.
