To coincide with the global stage premiere of Joe Hisaishi and the Royal Shakespeare Company’s landmark new adaptation of Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbour Totoro this October, Japan House London is teaming up with the RSC to offer a series of exciting prizes in a Facebook giveaway competition.
The winner of the top prize will receive two band A tickets to see My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican, a choice of dinner or lunch with cocktails for two at AKIRA Restaurant, and a £50 gift card to spend in The Shop at Japan House London.
Two runners-up will also win two tickets each to see My Neighbour Totoro at the Barbican.
Based on Studio Ghibli’s celebrated 1988 animated feature film by Miyazaki Hayao and adapted by Tom Morton-Smith, RSC’s stage production of My Neighbour Totoro explores the magical fantasy world of childhood and the transformative power of imagination, as it follows one extraordinary summer in the lives of sisters Satsuki and Mei. My Neighbour Totoro is produced in collaboration with Improbable and Nippon TV.
