This past weekend, multi-platinum pop icons New Kids On The Block launched their highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, THE RIGHT STUFF, to a sold-out crowd and rave reviews from both fans and critics. Held at the renowned Dolby Live at Park MGM, the spectacle marked a triumphant start to what is set to be a blockbuster residency.
With more than 80 million albums sold worldwide, New Kids On The Block have long held their place in pop music royalty. Known for back-to-back chart-topping albums like Hangin’ Tough (1988) and Step By Step (1990), as well as crossover R&B and pop hits such as “You Got It (The Right Stuff),” “I’ll Be Loving You,” “Tonight,” and “Cover Girl,” the Boston-born group shattered records in the late ’80s and early ’90s with nearly 200 concerts per year in sold-out arenas across the globe.
Since their 2007 reunion, NKOTB have shown no signs of slowing down—selling nearly 4 million tickets, doubling their crowds, and consistently performing in sold-out arenas. With their own “New Kids On The Block Day” in Boston, three performances at Fenway Park, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, their legacy remains as strong as ever. Their first full-length album in over a decade, Still Kids, released last year, was met with high praise and further cemented their continued relevance in the pop scene.
Now, with THE RIGHT STUFF residency, NKOTB have crafted their most extravagant live experience to date—bringing fans into a fully immersive celebration of nostalgia, energy, and showmanship. Running on select dates from June 2025 through February 2026, the show features jaw-dropping production that goes far beyond a typical concert experience.
The residency features more than 100,000 pieces of confetti, 7,000 rhinestones, 2,000 streamers, and a massive 80-foot wide by 40-foot tall stage. Attendees will witness the brilliance of 1,000 stage lights and over 500 pyrotechnic effects, while two hydraulic lifts and a 40-foot conveyer belt amplify the visual spectacle. Five flying boxes soar above the audience, complemented by four giant disco balls and a Vegas-themed backstage Quick Change Cam. A huge NKOTB Vegas sign, a real Ferris wheel car, a 60-foot train car, and a classic 1971 Buick Le Sabre two-door convertible add to the jaw-dropping production design. The show also features a playful boy band “wedding” with the audience, appearances by the Block-E mascot, six dancers, and of course, the five iconic brothers from Boston. It all adds up to one unforgettable night with NKOTB.
As the group performs exclusively in Las Vegas during the residency, the city has become the ultimate destination for their passionate fanbase—affectionately known as Blockheads. For those looking to keep the party going, THE RIGHT STUFF Afterparty Experience, hosted by Donnie Wahlberg, launched with equal fanfare at On The Record Speakeasy and Club. Special Saturday night events feature guest DJs like KayGee & Vin of Naughty by Nature with Illtown Sluggaz (June 21 & July 5), and DJ D-NICE (June 28). Tickets to the afterparty are sold separately.
