At the heart of the story is Min-ja, played by Song Hye-kyo (The Glory), a tenacious woman who refuses to let her difficult childhood define her future. Spotting an opportunity in the music industry, she fearlessly steps into an arena where talent alone is never enough.

Joining her is Gong Yoo (Squid Game) as Dong-gu, Min-ja’s loyal childhood friend. The two have been through thick and thin, and while Dong-gu’s reckless nature often lands him in trouble, his unwavering devotion to Min-ja keeps him by her side.

Kim Seol-hyun (Light Shop) takes on the role of Min-hui, whose complicated relationship with Min-ja oscillates between admiration and rivalry. Once a follower, Min-hui soon carves out her own identity, revealing a sharp and rebellious spirit.

Cha Seung-won (Uprising) transforms into Gil-yeo, a legendary composer who holds the power to turn aspiring artists into superstars. His influence in the industry is unmatched, making him both a dream maker and a formidable force to reckon with.

Lee Hanee (The Fiery Priest) plays Yang-ja, Min-ja’s mother, an aspiring singer whose passion remains unshaken despite life’s harsh realities. She embodies resilience, proving that dreams never truly fade, even in the face of adversity.

With a script penned by acclaimed writer Noh Hee-gyoung (Our Blues) and direction by Lee Yoon-jung (Coffee Prince), Show Business (WT) promises an intense, emotionally charged journey through the highs and lows of fame, ambition, and sacrifice. Stay tuned for more updates, only on Netflix.
