The Disney Halloween Festival was set to return from October 1 to November 5, 2023. At Disneyland Paris, the traditional celebration was making its comeback, promising a unique experience for visitors during this spooky season. 

Three distinct teams were gearing up for an exciting challenge to capture the essence of Halloween in their own special ways.

First, the Mischief Makers, led by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, along with their beloved friends, were embracing a “trick or treat” mentality. Their aim was to create playful and mischievous moments for both kids and adults, promising a Halloween filled with laughter and joy. They would be featured in Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, an entertaining parade that would make its way through Disneyland Park, inviting guests to join in the fun. In addition, guests could look forward to spending delightful moments with these iconic Disney Characters, all dressed up in their charming Halloween costumes.

Then, there were the Disney Villains, including Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Jafar, who were determined to make their team stand out during this chilling season. Throughout the ghostly season, guests could anticipate thrilling encounters with these sinister characters in Disneyland Park. When the moon ascended, the evilest of them all would offer a spooktacular experience for the bravest souls. “A Nightfall with Disney Villains” would take place before the Disney Dreams®! nighttime show, as Disney Villains took control of Sleeping Beauty Castle, guiding guests on a mesmerizing journey with fountains, video projections, and haunting music.

Last but not least, the Mysterious Hosts, embodied by the spirits of Phantom Manor, were ready to play tricks on anyone daring to venture into the ominous property. Those fortunate enough to escape the estate’s clutches would be invited to Walt Disney Studios Park, where they could explore the enigmatic Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, with the risk of being transported into another dimension. Halloween festivities would extend to the park’s restaurants and shops, offering devilishly delicious food and beverage options and an array of fang-tastic souvenirs inspired by the different teams, sure to please foodies and shopping enthusiasts alike.

In a special treat for October 31, the opening hours would be extended, ensuring that day guests could immerse themselves in the extra Halloween atmosphere until the park’s closure.

These enchanting instances owe their existence to the numerous generations of devotees and families who have embraced Disney’s enchantment. Additionally, it’s thanks to the boundless creative talents, imaginative prowess, and visionary contributions of countless artists that this dream became a reality.

For the momentous occasion of Disney’s 100th anniversary, Disneyland Paris is gearing up to commemorate this historical milestone in a truly exceptional fashion. On the day when Disney marks a century of magic, October 16, 2023, the park is poised to deliver an unparalleled entertainment lineup and exclusive Disney encounters. It promises to be a day etched in the memories of all who attend!

The Disney Enchanted Christmas will take place from November 11, 2023, to January 7, 2024.

Commencing early in November, the enchantment of Christmas would saturate the atmosphere at Disneyland Paris, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit and create cherished memories with their loved ones. Disneyland Park, bedecked with a majestic 24-meter-tall Christmas tree, shimmering lights, a cozy ambiance, and Main Street, U.S.A. covered in falling snowflakes, stood as the ideal locale to celebrate the most magical time of the year.

Throughout both day and night, the captivating Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade would envelop guests in the holiday enchantment with its captivating melodies and five festive-themed floats featuring beloved characters such as Mickey, Disney Princesses, and even Santa Claus. Nearly 100 performers, Disney Characters, and artists would unite to spread the joy of the season, making it a celebration for all. Notably, in November 2022, this parade had received the prestigious Brass Ring Award for the “Most Creative Christmas/Holiday Show” from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).

The enchanting festivities didn’t conclude there. The traditional Let’s Sing Christmas! show would encourage guests to join in singing heartwarming Christmas carols, while various meet-and-greet opportunities would allow families to capture wonderful holiday moments with Santa Claus and Disney Characters donning their festive attire.

For food enthusiasts, the resort would expand its culinary offerings with a plethora of seasonal delights. The magical winter market, L’Hiver Gourmand, would return from November 10, 2023, to March 17, 2024, featuring elegant chalets offering an array of holiday dishes and treats. Along with savoring delectable hot chocolate, guests could browse the shops in the Parks and Disney Village, brimming with seasonal souvenirs perfect for decorating, stocking stuffing, and donning holiday attire.

Furthermore, Disney VoluntEARS (Cast Members participating in volunteer activities) would once again bring joy and magic to hospitalized children by stepping into the roles of Santa’s elves, distributing thousands of gifts in pediatric wards across numerous hospitals in France, brightening Christmas for those who needed it most.

As the year transitioned into the New Year, Disneyland Paris would mark the occasion in an exceptional manner by extending its opening hours and offering a festive lineup to day guests on December 31, 2023.

The grand opening of Rosalie in Disney Village is scheduled for December 2023.

Situated at the intersection of the theme parks and Disney Hotels, Disney Village is currently undergoing its most ambitious transformation to date. In an effort to enhance the overall experience within the retail, dining, and entertainment complex, the resort is partnering with prestigious brands, including Groupe Bertrand, who will be launching a brand-new French brasserie named Rosalie. Set to make its debut in December, this family-oriented restaurant will provide patrons with breathtaking vistas overlooking Lake Disney, all within an elegant and refined ambiance.

Disney Symphony of Colors: An Explosion of Vivid New Experiences Starting January 8, 2024

Commencing on January 8, Disneyland Park would come alive with the vibrancy and joy reminiscent of a cinematic masterpiece. Over the initial weeks of the new year, Disneyland Paris had meticulously designed a series of captivating experiences to brighten even the cloudiest winter days, collectively known as Disney Symphony of Colors.

This extraordinary lineup embarked on its journey in a grand and spectacular fashion. A brand-new nighttime spectacle was poised to transport guests into a world where it felt as if a parade was soaring above the resort. As night descended each day, visitors would be invited to assemble in front of the Castle, embarking on an awe-inspiring voyage featuring a mesmerizing blend of fountains, radiant lights, dynamic video projections, and synchronized drones. These technological marvels would craft animated floats in the skies, paying homage to a beloved experience that had once illuminated the nights at Disneyland Paris.

The entertainment extravaganza didn’t conclude there. In February, guests would have the opportunity to immerse themselves in an all-new, high-energy show bursting with vibrant colors. This original production, set to be performed multiple times daily in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, was a jubilant celebration of the captivating animation brought to life by Disney and Pixar. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and a host of other cherished Disney and Pixar Characters, including Timon from “The Lion King,” Joy from “Inside Out,” and Mirabel from “Encanto,” would come together in a show premiering at Disneyland Park.

In the same month, Tinker Bell would work her enchanting pixie magic on Main Street, U.S.A., transforming the wintry surroundings into a blossoming floral paradise, an enchanting display that would showcase the splendid palette of nature’s colors.

The Disneyland Hotel’s Grand Reopening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.

As part of the ongoing transformation of Disneyland Paris, the illustrious five-star Disneyland Hotel is currently undergoing a regal “reimagining.”

Upon its anticipated reopening in the first quarter of 2024, the Disneyland Hotel is poised to make history as the first Disney Hotel to invite guests on a grand journey celebrating Disney royalty. This unparalleled experience at Disneyland Paris promises to transport individuals of all ages into the enchanting realms of iconic royal characters from cherished Walt Disney Animation Studios classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Princess and the Frog, as well as recent cinematic triumphs such as Frozen, Moana, and Raya and the Last Dragon. Here, guests will have the opportunity to draw inspiration from their beloved royal narratives and craft their very own fairy tales.

Details regarding the reopening date of the Disneyland Hotel and additional information will be unveiled as bookings become available on September 12.

Spring 2024: Unveiling a Melodic Spectacle Inspired by the Enchanting Realm of Alice in Wonderland
