Disney and Pixar are turning Hong Kong’s harbor into a full blown Toy Story takeover, and if you have not heard the buzz yet, it is time to catch up. Toy Story 5 has the city in a chokehold, and the summer event “FOREVER TOYS @ Harbour City” just proved it with a first wave that pulled in massive crowds since its grand opening on June 19. This is not some quiet mall activation. This is a full scale, multi zone experience built for collectors, photo hunters, and diehard Pixar heads alike.

The opening wave came stacked with six themed experience zones that had fans lining up and camera rolls filling up fast. There was the “Toy Meets Tech” Playroom, Hong Kong’s only official “The Forever Toy House” Toy Story 5 themed pop up store, the city’s exclusive “Buzz Lightyear” Project Car Landing, the AIA The Best Pals Spot, the Standard Chartered Disney Savings Account Promotional Zone, and the Toy Story 5 i Smart Vending Machine paired with the Zoda “Toy Story” Photo Booth. Six zones, endless content, and the crowds showed up in full force.

Now the second wave has landed, and it is going even bigger. Think exclusive stamp rally drops, limited edition merch that collectors are going to want to grab fast, and a massive 4.5 meter tall “Buzz Lightyear! To Infinity and Beyond!” installation that just touched down at the terrace of Ocean Terminal Deck. On top of that, Hong Kong Disneyland is bringing its “Pixar Summer Rally” themed installations straight to the lawn at Ocean Terminal Deck, while “The Art of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5” exhibition has officially opened at Gallery by the Harbour, giving fans a deep dive into the artistry behind the film.

And the rollout is not stopping there. Starting July 4, the exterior facade at the Canton Road entrance of Ocean Centre transforms into a brand new Toy Story 5 photo hotspot. Then starting August 1, the “Forky and Karen Beverly Themed DIY Workshop” makes its debut, keeping the summer surprises coming.

Here is the full breakdown of everything dropping in wave two, because there is a lot to unpack.

First up, the Toy Story 5 Stamp Rally has officially launched, and it comes loaded with an eight stamp selfie mirror blind box redemption, limited edition eco tote blind boxes, and a charity bundle that lets fans give back while collecting. Starting July 1, Harbour City rolled out this exclusive stamp rally alongside a fresh lineup of limited edition merchandise. Alongside the existing “Toy Meets Tech” Game Card, the newly launched “Toy Story 5 Experience Guide” Stamp Rally Booklet invites fans into a full on stamp collecting journey through the world of Toy Story 5. Collect character stamps at all eight designated stamp stations scattered throughout Harbour City and you can redeem one “Toy Story 5 Selfie Mirror Blind Box,” which comes in four different designs distributed completely at random. It is the kind of collectible that fans are already hunting for a full set of.

The Game Card and Stamp Rally Booklet are on sale now through August 9, from 12 noon to 8pm, at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, priced at HK$60 each. Stamp Rally gift redemption runs on the same timeline through August 9, from 11am to 9pm, over at Gallery by the Harbour, Shop 207, Level 2, Ocean Centre, Harbour City.

There is more. Shop at designated participating merchants including Book Castle, Chow Tai Fook, GODIVA, Hot Toys, PANDORA, and Toys R Us, flash your Stamp Rally Booklet, and unlock exclusive limited time offers. The event also brings a “Foldable Eco Tote Blind Box Limited Collection” for charity sale, where fans can redeem each design with a HK$60 donation. Want the full bundle? A HK$140 charitable donation gets you the Game Card, Stamp Rally Booklet, and one Eco Tote Blind Box in a single set. All proceeds after costs go directly to Make A Wish Hong Kong, so this is a drop that actually gives back. The charity sale runs now through August 9, from 12 noon to 8pm, at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, with a HK$60 donation per item.

If you are more about hands on challenges than shopping, the “Toy Meets Tech” Playroom is where you need to be. This spot has already become a certified fan favorite since wave one, and it is still going strong at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt. Walking in, guests are greeted by sculptures of Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye, each standing over two meters tall, before heading through a glowing Lilypad tablet tunnel that leads into a world where classic toys collide with modern tech.

Once you are through the tunnel, four interactive game zones are waiting. “Jessie and Bullseye, Cowgirl in Charge” throws it back to the Wild West with a ring toss challenge. “Forky and Karen, Always Connected” turns their dream wedding into a block building challenge. “Buzz Lightyear and Aliens, Space Rangers” tests your aim with a ball scoring game. And “Lilypad and Tech Trio, Always in Sync” is an electronic memory challenge that will test how sharp you really are.

Drop HK$60 and you get a “Toy Meets Tech” Game Card that unlocks all four zones. Complete each booth and score one of four themed gifts, including a Toy Story 5 sticker or file folder. But the real flex is finishing all four challenges, which unlocks a bonus reward, a Toy Story 5 towel handed out at random. This is a full completionist mission for the diehards. The “Toy Meets Tech” Playroom runs now through August 9, with the setup open from 10am to 10pm and the game zones active from 12 noon to 8pm, located at the Ocean Terminal Forecourt.

Now let’s talk about the main character of the summer, the 4.5 meter tall “Buzz Lightyear, To Infinity and Beyond!” installation that just landed at Ocean Terminal Deck, standing tall against the Victoria Harbour skyline. Buzz is locked into his iconic heroic pose, staring out over the water like he is prepping for the next mission, and fans are already lining up to recreate that exact stance for the ultimate photo moment. Serious collectors are even bringing their own Buzz Lightyear figures from home to shoot a toy meets hero reunion pic next to the giant installation. That is the kind of crossover content that hits different. This installation is up now through August 31, from 10am to 10pm, at the terrace of Ocean Terminal Deck.

Hong Kong Disneyland is also bringing the heat with its “Pixar Summer Rally” themed installations taking over the lawn at Ocean Terminal Deck, and this includes the “Pixar Water Play Street Party!” parade float, a four meter tall block castle, an “RC Racer” inspired installation, and a one day only Buzz Lightyear and Jessie greeting session that fans absolutely cannot miss. This is Hong Kong Disneyland extending its brand new “Pixar Summer Fest” straight out of the park and onto the harbor front, bringing that same high energy summer vibe to a whole new audience.

Three major installations are anchoring this experience. The “Pixar Water Play Street Party!” parade float inspired setup comes with splash elements built right in. The four meter tall Pixar pals themed block castle offers a colorful, playful photo backdrop. And the “RC Racer” inspired installation lets fans relive one of Hong Kong Disneyland’s most beloved attractions without even stepping foot in the park. Guests can step inside the splash equipped float for a refreshing summer moment, snap pics at the block castle, and vibe out at the “RC Racer” setup, creating the kind of harbor front content that is made for the feed. These installations run now through August 31, from 10am to 10pm, on the lawn of Ocean Terminal Deck.

And mark your calendars for July 19, because that is when Buzz Lightyear and Jessie themselves are pulling up for a one day only greeting session, giving fans a rare chance to meet the iconic duo face to face and grab that once in a lifetime photo. Details on how to participate are dropping soon on Harbour City’s official social channels, so keep an eye out because this one is going to move fast. The Buzz Lightyear and Jessie greeting session happens on Sunday, July 19, from 1pm to 5:30pm, on the lawn of Ocean Terminal Deck. Meet and greet details are subject to Harbour City’s official announcement, and the event comes with terms and conditions, so check the on site promo materials for the fine print.

For the fans who want to go deeper than photo ops, “The Art of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5” exhibition is where the real appreciation happens. This is a 31 year legacy on full display. Back in 1995, the original Toy Story became the world’s first fully computer animated feature film and completely changed the game for animation as we know it. Over three decades later, the franchise has grown up alongside its fans, evolving from the world of Andy’s bedroom into a full blown cultural institution.

Times change, and so does the way kids play. In Toy Story 5, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie are back, this time going head to head with modern electronic devices that have completely taken over kids’ attention spans. Now officially open at Gallery by the Harbour, this exhibition takes fans through the entire creative process behind the film, from raw concept to final cut.

Inside, you will find rare production artwork spanning every stage of the filmmaking process, from early pencil sketches and character concept art to fully rendered color studies and storyboards. It is a rare look at how flat 2D ideas evolve into fully realized 3D worlds, showing off the craftsmanship behind every frame. Fans can get up close with the linework, color choices, and small details that give each character their personality. There is also a giant Lilypad tablet photo installation on site, so you can capture your own moment inside the exhibit. “The Art of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5” runs now through August 9, from 11am to 9pm, at Gallery by the Harbour, Shop 207, Level 2, Ocean Centre, Harbour City.

If merch is what you are after, “The Forever Toy House” Toy Story 5 themed pop up store just dropped wave two, and it is stacked. Over 100 new items just hit shelves, spanning multiple brands including URDU, Blokees, I Smart, and TARMAC WORKS, with several designs that are exclusive to this event and will not be found anywhere else.

The biggest flex of this wave is the brand new limited pop up exclusive DIY Zone, making its very first appearance, and it comes with two custom build experiences. Fans can design their own “URDU / Disney Pixar Nine Cycles, Star Wish Crystal Bracelet Series, Toy Story 5,” pulling the lucky energy of the characters into a wearable piece. Collectors can also build their own Toy Story Mini Figures Bottle, choosing from over 30 character mini figures to create a fully custom display piece. This is hands on collecting at its finest.

The pop up is also dropping “URDU / Disney Pixar Toy Story 5 Sticker Cards,” with four brand new designs that have never been revealed before, bringing the full series up to 13 designs total. That is a full set challenge for the collectors who need to catch them all. Come August, two major headline products are set to drop, the “URDU / Disney Pixar Action Softoy Series Part 16, Toy Story 5” and the “URDU / Disney Pixar Nine Illusions, Astral Edge Crystal Bracelet Series, Toy Story 5.” The pop up has also linked up with Snapio for two Toy Story 5 themed photo booths, complete with limited edition frames so fans can snap Korean style trend photos with their favorite characters and walk away with a summer keepsake. “The Forever Toy House” runs now through August 31, from 12 noon to 8pm, at the Ocean Terminal Main Concourse.

For the couples and hopeless romantics out there, a DIY workshop is dropping in August that lets fans build their own Forky and Karen Beverly toys. Starting August 1, Forky and Karen Beverly’s dream wedding comes to life at the Atrium, G/F, Ocean Terminal. Every weekend that month, fans can join the “Forky and Karen Beverly Themed DIY Workshop” and handcraft their own version of the pair, bringing home a piece of the film’s most heartwarming storyline.

Bring your Stamp Rally Booklet and get a discounted workshop fee of HK$50, down from the regular HK$60, while building your own happily ever after pair. On top of that, fans who follow Harbour City’s official social accounts and post a photo from any “FOREVER TOYS @ Harbour City” installation with the designated hashtag can score a free Toy Story 5 game sheet. Workshop spots and game sheet redemptions are first come, first served, so do not sleep on this one. The workshop runs Saturdays and Sundays only, from August 1 through August 30, 2026, from 12 noon to 8pm, at the Atrium, G/F, Ocean Terminal. Game sheet redemption runs daily from August 1 through August 31, 2026, same hours, same location.

And this is not even the finale. After a strong first wave and a fully leveled up second wave, the grand finale third wave of “FOREVER TOYS @ Harbour City” is already in the works, gearing up for a mid August debut. A completely new Toy Story themed experience is on the way, and Harbour City is promising it is going to bring even more surprises. Stay locked in on Harbour City’s official website and social media channels for the reveal, because this summer is not slowing down anytime soon.

“FOREVER TOYS @ Harbour City” runs from June 19 through August 31, 2026. Phase one, kicking off June 19, covers the Ocean Terminal Forecourt, Ocean Terminal Main Concourse, the Atrium on G/F of Ocean Terminal, Atrium I, and the Canton Road Entrance of Gateway Arcade. Phase two, starting July 1, expands into new territory, adding Ocean Terminal Deck, Gallery by the Harbour, and the Canton Road Entrance of Ocean Centre. This is a summer long Toy Story invasion, and Hong Kong is fully living in it.
