Gaming titan Square Enix is officially leveling up its physical footprint with the announcement of new licensed cafe and shop destinations. These upcoming hubs are slated for high profile openings in both Los Angeles and Shinjuku, Tokyo. Arriving in Spring 2026, these spaces aim to merge legendary gaming culture with curated culinary experiences.
The upcoming venues will feature specialized menus pulling inspiration from the deep library of Square Enix intellectual properties. Alongside the dining experience, the integrated retail spaces will serve as a primary source for official merchandise and exclusive gear. This move is particularly significant for the North American market, as it represents the first time an official Square Enix cafe will offer its full authentic menu within the United States. Both sites are already positioned as essential cultural hubs for the global gaming community.
The company plans to reveal specific opening dates and further details at a later time.
