Atlantis Dubai’s fifth edition of its highly popular Culinary Month is taking place from October 15th to November 29th. This year marks the debut of Culinary Month being hosted across two iconic resorts, namely Atlantis, The Palm and The Royal.

Throughout this special month, guests are warmly welcomed by Atlantis Dubai to meet, learn from, and dine with a selection of highly esteemed chefs hailing from the region. The lineup also features multi-award-winning celebrity chefs such as Gastón Acurio, José Andrés, and Ariana Bundy. In the inaugural week of Culinary Month, both residents and tourists are being given the delightful opportunity to savor the offerings of Atlantis Dubai’s restaurants at discounted prices as part of Atlantis Restaurant Week. Notable establishments participating include Nobu Dubai, Hakkasan Dubai, Dinner By Heston Blumenthal, Ling Ling, and more.

A Dinner to Remember

The event titled “Last Supper in Pompeii at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal” runs from November 1st to November 30th, with serving hours from 6 pm to 11:00 pm. Heston Blumenthal OBE has crafted a distinctive interpretation of the ‘Last Supper in Pompeii,’ drawing inspiration from the carbonized and organic food remnants uncovered by archaeologists Taste History. This unique menu is a homage to the rich culinary heritage of this ancient city and its vital role in daily life.

Launching on November 1st at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in Atlantis The Royal, this special menu offers guests a taste of history, transporting them to the ancient Roman town forever preserved by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. The dishes featured in this menu include authentic Pompeiian bread made from heritage spelt flour and grano arso, which is burnt wheat flour from Puglia, along with a contemporary interpretation of libum, a dessert based on baked fresh cheese curds.

Meet a Celebrity Chef

Ariana Bundy’s Saffron Harvest Menu will be available from November 1st to November 8th, with two serving periods: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Guests are invited to savor the culinary expertise of Ariana’s Persian Kitchen, led by the renowned chef and cookbook author, Ariana Bundy. This special offering during Culinary Month pays tribute to Iran’s cherished saffron, a highly valued ingredient. Saffron is meticulously harvested from saffron flowers each year in early November, with 167 flowers needed to produce just one gram of this precious spice.

Ariana’s Persian Kitchen not only highlights the essence of Iranian cuisine but also elevates it through an innovative menu, captivating décor, and the distinctive hospitality of Persia. Visitors can embark on a flavorful journey as saffron takes center stage in a diverse range of delectable dishes.

Gastón Acurio, a celebrated chef known for his contributions to elevating Peruvian cuisine on the international stage, will explore the rich history of cebiche and the evolution of Peruvian gastronomy. Each evening, attendees will have the opportunity to partake in the immersive storytelling of a meticulously designed menu created by this celebrity chef duo. Anticipate a delightful array of dishes, including black grouper, sea urchin, and classic leche de tigre, as well as tako octopus, wagyu striploin Nikkei, king crab chaufa, and pickled wagyu salad. In an exceptional collaboration, Paul Occhipinti, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France award recipient, and Christophe Devoille of Atlantis The Royal, will transport guests into the world of pure indulgence as they savor the exquisite flavors of the South of France.

This sophisticated and ultra-luxurious afternoon tea unfolds in the pristine main lobby of the ultra-luxury resort, surrounded by the shimmering Droplets sculpture and expansive aquariums. It features an opulent selection of savory delicacies and pastries, meticulously crafted by the skilled pastry chefs. Attendees can look forward to tantalizing their taste buds with offerings such as a mouthwatering mushroom duxelle tart with black truffle, a lobster and prawn cocktail adorned with caviar and lemon, a delectable buffalo mozzarella tomato chutney with basil, and bresaola garnished with pickled onion and rocket. Grégoire Berger, the acclaimed chef renowned for Ossiano, which boasts one Michelin star, continues his 2023 lineup of world-class culinary collaborations. In this particular event, he joins forces with one of Spain’s most influential chefs, Andoni Luis Aduriz of Mugaritz, a restaurant holding two Michelin stars and ranking at No. 31 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2023. Andoni is known for pushing the boundaries of fine dining and redefining the concept of a tasting menu. Over the years, he has earned recognition for curating some of the world’s most iconic dishes, including edible stones, glazed garlic, and the Michelin Man.

This remarkable collaboration represents Grégoire’s fourth four-hands dinner this year. For two nights only, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a splendid 10-wave menu.
