Today, Athleta, started a new chapter in top-notch performance gear with its fresh Train Collection. Their new 8-piece collection is the result of over three years of tough testing, involving elite athletes and regular women alike. Athleta went the extra mile by conducting thorough lab tests to ensure perfect fit and design, checking for things like shape retention, strength, and breathability. The outcome? A set of top-notch training gear that helps women power through their workouts like never before.

At the heart of the Train Collection is the debut of PowerMove, a special high-performance fabric made from recycled polyester, sourced from used plastic bottles to be kinder to the environment. PowerMove is made with an interlock construction, giving it a smooth feel, great coverage, and just the right amount of stretch. It’s crafted using a fine double knit machine, resulting in a fabric that’s super light, breathable, and quick-drying, while still being strong and durable. Plus, it offers awesome compression, both vertically and horizontally, for a supportive fit. The fabric is cut in a way that provides flexible compression, meaning it stretches more vertically to support movements like box jumps and burpees.

The star of the Train Collection is the Interval Tight, featuring a special waistband design using adhesive technology to mold perfectly to the body for an ideal fit. This makes it a sleek, comfy, and high-performance option for even the toughest workouts. The collection also includes the Interval Stash 7/8 Tight, Interval Stash Capri, Interval Stash Short (7-inch), and Interval Jacket, available in a range of colors including Black, Dark Lapis Blue, Granite Blue, Iceplant Pink, Aspen Olive, and Bright White.

Covering all her training needs, including pre and post-workout, is the Unstoppable Fleece Assortment, featuring Flex Fleece, a new fabric made from recycled polyester fiber and spandex for stretch. This midweight technical fleece is wicking, quick-drying, and breathable, perfect for layering during outdoor training sessions. It offers supreme comfort with its soft and cozy feel, making it great for before and after the gym.
