Located just outside Gävle, Högbo Brukshotell & Spa has recently undergone an extensive renovation, culminating in the unveiling of a sprawling 1,100-square-meter spa on June 1. Boasting expansive lounge areas, unique treatments, four pools, and a variety of sauna experiences, this revitalized space is poised to cement the hotel’s status as a premier destination for nature-inspired relaxation and culinary excellence, with sustainability at its core.
Nestled on the historic grounds of Högbo Bruk, north of Sandviken, the hotel offers not only comfortable accommodations but also access to stunning natural surroundings and a plethora of outdoor activities year-round. Spearheaded by Amy, the new Spa at Högbo introduces a range of facial and body care treatments, including guasha and cupping therapy, complemented by her own signature scent. Adjacent to the Orangery, several bars and a fresh bistro concept are currently under construction, featuring seating for 112 guests and a grand fireplace crafted by artisans from Högbo Bruk, paying homage to its rich heritage.
Additionally, the expansion project includes the addition of twelve new hotel rooms, eight conference rooms, a revamped lobby, and reception area, seamlessly blending historical charm with modern comforts and a touch of personality.
