LG Innotek, led by CEO Moon Hyuksoo, will participate in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10. At this globally renowned event, the company will showcase its cutting-edge advancements in future mobility, spanning vehicle sensing, communication, and lighting technologies. The booth, strategically positioned at the entrance of the West Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), covers approximately 3,500 square meters.

Focus on Mobility Innovation

This year’s exhibition is dedicated exclusively to mobility innovations. According to a company representative, LG Innotek has taken a storytelling approach to help visitors experience its solutions from an end-user perspective. The highlight of the booth will be a futuristic vehicle mockup featuring 15 advanced components that reflect LG Innotek’s leadership in vehicle technology.

Key innovations in vehicle sensing will be prominently featured, particularly for Autonomous Driving (AD) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

  • RGB-IR In-Cabin Camera Module: Unveiled for the first time, this module integrates a 5-megapixel RGB and IR sensor to monitor driver alertness and passenger activity in real-time. This compact solution enhances design flexibility and optimizes cabin space by replacing multiple monitoring systems with a single module.
  • All-Weather Camera Solution: An upgraded heating camera module with a dust-cleaning function to ensure reliable operation in diverse weather conditions.

LG Innotek will also introduce advanced communication components that highlight its proprietary wireless technologies:

  • 5G-V2X Communication Module: Enabling seamless communication between vehicles, infrastructure, and devices.
  • Next-Generation Digital Key Solution: Utilizing Ultra-Wideband (UWB) radar technology for enhanced security and usability.
  • Automotive AP Module: Acting as the “brain” of modern vehicles, this module integrates systems like ADAS and Digital Cockpit, meeting the growing demand for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).

The Nexlide A+, a CES 2025 Innovation Award winner, will headline LG Innotek’s lighting showcase. Visitors can also explore:

  • Nexlide Vision: A breakthrough combining Pixel Lighting with Smart Film technology to create customizable lighting effects, animations, and text displays for vehicle design flexibility.

Solutions for Electric Vehicles (EVs)

LG Innotek is also focusing on the electric vehicle market with innovations like:

  • B-Link (Battery Link): The world’s first integration of a wireless Battery Management System (BMS) and Battery Junction Box (BJB), offering space efficiency and compatibility with both 400V and 800V charging systems.
