Today, the Miracles for Kids organization hosted their annual “Back-to-School Basket of Miracles” event in Irvine, California.  The “Back-to-School Basket of Miracles’ event is not the only event from the non-profit that helps to provide for these families, delivering school essentials for the kids.  The organization has hosted different types of non-profit events to help the communities as well.

Here at the event, over a hundred volunteers and donors assembled gift baskets for the families.  Some are being delivered by the volunteers to the families in Orange County and some are ship out to other communities throughout California.

Companies like Target, and Irvine Company, among others, also sent out their employees during work hours to help the organization assemble the items prior to the event.  The Miracles team has collected back-to-school items from sponsors, donations, and local community initiatives to offer a smooth transition for families that need it most. (Colored pencils, markers, crayons, mechanical pencils. Highlighters. Index cards, rulers, pocket folders, spiral notebooks (wide & college ruled), sets of dividers, 1” binders, and  Target gift cards to help offset costs for families.)
