St Kitts and Nevis is a two-island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea. Both islands were formed by volcanic activity and are mountainous. 

Fully vaccinated returning nationals and residents travelers arriving by air will no longer undergo a “Vacation in Place” (quarantine) period or testing upon arrival.  This requirement also applies to non-vaccinated children under the age of 12 traveling with fully vaccinated parents.  Nonvaccinated children between the age of 12 -17 who are traveling with fully vaccinated parents or guardians must undergo an RT-PCR Test(USD $100 Nationals and Residents) within 24 hours of arrival. Parents are to remain in “Vacation in Place” (quarantine) with the child until receipt of negative RT-PCR test results.

Non-vaccinated and partially vaccinated returning nationals and residents will undergo an RT-PCR Test (USD100 National/Resident) on day 7, and if they test negative, the returning National or Resident will be allowed to integrate into St. Kitts and Nevis.

St. Kitts Music Festival: The 25th St. Kitts Music Festival will take place from June 23-25, 2022, featuring a lineup of internationally acclaimed and regional artists that promise to add diversity and excitement. The three-day event will see the likes of “Temperature” sensation Sean Paul, American rapper Wale, Keyshia Cole and the iconic Beres Hammond. Throughout the Festival, attendees will be treated to performances across a variety of music genres from reggae and dancehall, to hip hop, soca and jazz.

Nevis Mango Festival: The Nevis Mango and Food Festival is an entire weekend totally dedicated to the mango and the deliciously creative cuisine made with it. From July 1-3, 2022, this celebration of mangos will feed the essence of the festival as participating chefs embrace an epic culinary challenge. Every course of every meal they cook or demonstrate must include Nevis mangos. Attendees are therefore in for a fun and interesting culinary adventure since everything eaten all weekend may likely be a recipe never before tasted. International celebrity chefs and Nevisian chefs participate in and host multiple events over the entire weekend.

Nevis Culturama Festival: The cultural highlight of the Nevis calendar for more than four decades, this week-long annual summer festival is a vibrant showcase of traditional folk art in all its forms. From July 21 to August 2, 2022, Nevisians will come together in a festive colourful display to celebrate their rich culture and heritage, with highlights including dancing, drama, poetry, folk singing, music, pageants and arts and crafts.

Nevis Marathon and Running Festival: The marathon is the most challenging, not just for the distance, but for the fact that it circumnavigates the entire island of Nevis. However, every so often, there is a soothing sea breeze that reduces the heat, as runners contend to get to the finish line. On September 3, 2022, all participants will receive a t-shirt in their race package and a finish medal upon completion. The top three finishers in each category receive unique Nevis-made stone trophies.

Caribbean Premier League Cricket CPL T20: The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has confirmed that St. Kitts and Nevis will be hosting matches during the 2022 tournament. The Federation will host seven matches between August 30 and September 4, 2022 with the home team and current champions, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, playing in four of those games. Hero CPL is returning to St. Kitts and Nevis again in 2022 after the Federation successfully hosted the whole tournament in 2021.


Effective Friday April 1st 2022, all travelers must submit a Rapid Antigen negative test result from a CLIA/CDC/UKAS approved lab accredited with ISO/IEO 17025 standard, taken 1 day prior of your arrival or submit a COVID-19 RT-PCR or NAAT negative test result from a CLIA/CDC/UKAS approved lab accredited with ISO/IEO 17025 standard, taken within 3 days of your arrival, along with the required embarkation form, and all other supporting documentation. An embarkation form is required regardless of age.

Please note, acceptable COVID-19 RT-PCR, NAAT or Rapid Antigen tests must be taken by nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal sample. Self-samples or home tests will be considered invalid. The St. Kitts and Nevis Ministries of Health do not accept doctor letters of recovery, all incoming travelers must submit a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR, NAAT or Rapid Antigen test result to travel to St. Kitts and Nevis.

Fully vaccinated travelers will be required to submit a copy of their official Vaccination Record card (Vaccination Certificate) including dates when doses were administered.

All incoming travelers must have hard copies of their negative RT-PCR, NAAT or Rapid Antigen test results and Vaccination Record card (Vaccination Certificate). Travelers must present their travel approval letter via their mobile device or printed format to the required airline and health officials.

Fully vaccinated international travelers aged 12 and older staying at their “Travel Approved” hotel will no longer undergo a “Vacation in Place” (quarantine) period or testing upon arrival.
