The St. Regis Hotels & Resorts have unveiled the eagerly awaited opening of The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort, marking the brand’s inaugural presence in Oman. This resort, developed by Alfardan Group, seamlessly blends local heritage with avant-garde design and the timeless elegance of the St. Regis brand. It brings the iconic hallmarks of New York’s Fifth Avenue and 55th Street to the region’s elite.

Situated in the heart of Al Mouj, one of Oman’s most exclusive neighborhoods renowned for its luxurious beachfront living, the resort serves as a gateway to Oman’s captivating cultural attractions, including the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the Al Hajar Mountains, the natural pools of Wadi Shab, and the pristine waters of the Daymaniyat Islands.

Nestled along the serene shores of the Al Mouj waterfront, the resort offers direct access to a secluded white sand beach and boasts views of the lush, manicured greens of the award-winning adjacent golf course. The resort’s unique superyacht-inspired architecture, featuring a distinctive wave design, draws inspiration from its surroundings. The interior design, characterized by a soothing palette of oceanic tones, rich tans, and local natural stone, reflects Oman’s breathtaking landscape. These rooms feature private balconies, walk-in wardrobes, large bathrooms, luxurious amenities, and are bathed in natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows. As a vibrant new destination in the capital, the resort offers exceptional culinary experiences across nine distinct dining venues, including internationally acclaimed and Michelin-starred concepts. Hakkasan presents modern Cantonese cuisine and world-class mixology, while Em Sherif offers a meticulously crafted tribute to Lebanese dining. Roberto’s features contemporary seafood-inspired Italian cuisine, COYA brings Latin American culture with authentic Peruvian cuisine and innovative Pisco drinks, and Novikov Café blends Mediterranean-inspired dishes with French, Italian, and Asian flavors in a modern brasserie setting. Karibu serves a fusion of Zanzibari and Omani cuisine, and Zorba offers Greek specialties.

The Lounge provides a serene setting to enjoy a locally inspired version of the signature St. Regis Afternoon Tea, while Sukkar presents a world of sweet desserts and delicacies. The Stage, inspired by the King Cole Bar at The St. Regis New York, offers a curated menu of classic, expertly crafted cocktails. This intimate space also features an expansive mural by Omani artist Hassan Meer, depicting the cultural hub, port city, and historic site of Muttrah, Muscat’s old town. At sunset, The Stage hosts the nightly St. Regis sabering ritual to celebrate the transition from day to night, accompanied by live entertainment.

The first Guerlain Spa in the country offers a serene retreat with 11 treatment rooms, including 2 exclusive couple suites, steam rooms, and saunas, and features a bespoke wellness menu inspired by Omani philosophy and traditions. The resort’s fitness and recreation facilities include a fully equipped gym, personal training and yoga sessions, multiple swimming pools, a private beach with plush loungers and cabanas, a padel court, and access to the Greg Norman-designed Al Mouj Golf course. The resort’s Family Traditions program includes the Adventure Hub Children’s Club, a vibrant space for younger guests.

The resort also serves as a timeless venue for weddings, gatherings, and meetings, embodying the glamour and heritage of the St. Regis brand. Two opulent ballrooms can accommodate receptions for up to 1,000 guests, while the private beach and gardens offer idyllic settings for intimate occasions.
