The World’s Greatest Party Band is plotting its return to the world’s most tireless party town. The B-52s are set to bring their neon-bright chaos back to The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas for a three-night run on April 22, 24 and 25, 2026. The residency, already a fan magnet since its 2023 debut, expands once more thanks to insatiable demand.

Since first touching down on the Strip in May 2023, the band has turned every show into a sold-out eruption of color and ecstatic nostalgia. In 2026, they’ll crank the time machine again, firing off jukebox staples like “Rock Lobster,” “Private Idaho,” “Roam” and “Love Shack,” all delivered with the same off-kilter sparkle that made them alt-rock royalty.

Tickets start at $49.50 plus fees and hit the general on-sale on Friday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. PT. Fans can secure seats through Ticketmaster.com, VenetianLasVegas.com, any box office at The Venetian Resort or by calling 702.414.9000 or 866.641.7469.

Citi returns as the official card of The B-52s’ residency, and Citi cardmembers get the jump with a pre-sale running Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. PT through Thursday, Dec. 4 at 10 p.m. PT via the Citi Entertainment program. Full details live at citientertainment.com.

Artist fan pre-sales begin Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. PT. Venetian Rewards members, Live Nation patrons and Ticketmaster customers can join in on Thursday, Dec. 4 starting at 10 a.m. PT. All pre-sales close that same day at 10 p.m. PT.

The B-52s: Perpetual Motion Since 1976

For nearly half a century, The B-52s have held onto the crown as rock’s eternal party brigade. More than 20 million albums into their career, the group’s longevity remains obvious the moment they hit a stage. Their catalog—ranging from early detonators like “Rock Lobster,” “Dance This Mess Around,” “Private Idaho,” “Roam” and “Deadbeat Club” to MTV-era giants like “Love Shack”—continues to fuel dance floors and playlists alike. Their 2008 comeback album Funplex crashed into the Top 200 at No. 11, proving their spark never dulled.

The band’s origin story is now a kind of rock folklore. One night in October 1976, after drinks at a Chinese restaurant in Athens, Georgia, Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, Keith Strickland, Cindy Wilson and Ricky Wilson formed a group almost by accident. They played their first show the following Valentine’s Day at a friend’s house. Naming themselves after the towering “B-52” hairdos of Southern slang, the band soon began weekend runs to New York, infiltrating CBGB’s and other downtown rooms with thrift-store flair and songs that refused to play by any genre’s rules.

Their self-titled debut, produced by Chris Blackwell, became an underground sensation and eventually sold more than half a million copies. Early singles “Rock Lobster” and “52 Girls” pushed them beyond punk enclaves into national consciousness. The album later landed at No. 152 on Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” and No. 99 on VH1’s equivalent list. By then, The B-52s had already cracked open a new frontier, proving that pop could be surreal, subversive and wildly fun all at once.
