In 2024, the second phase of Marina Bay Sands’ substantial reinvestment program unfolds. The goal is to enhance Singapore’s tourism appeal for the foreseeable future.

With an estimated budget of $750 million, this investment will primarily target Tower 3, the hotel lobby, and Sands SkyPark. The focus includes a revamped VIP arrival experience, new high-end dining and retail options, a lobby makeover, and an increased emphasis on guest wellness. The second phase aims to introduce over 550 redesigned rooms, including approximately 380 suites, with completion expected in stages by 2025.

This transformation is part of a comprehensive, multi-year strategy to establish the integrated resort as a leader in the luxury hospitality industry. Currently in the final stage of its $1 billion first-phase reinvestment, announced in February 2022, Marina Bay Sands focused on fully renovating Hotel Towers 1 and 2, along with introducing new dining options and luxury amenities for high-value travelers.

The extended reinvestment program highlights Las Vegas Sands’ commitment to contributing to Singapore’s hospitality industry, supporting both its people and economy, with a total reinvestment reaching $1.75 billion. The integrated resort aspires to set new standards for luxury hospitality in the region, catering to the most valuable and discerning visitors seeking immersive travel experiences.

The first phase involved upgrading approximately 1,280 rooms across Towers 1 and 2, with about 390 being new suites. These rooms fall under two main categories – The Paiza Collection and The Sands Collection. Each collection offers distinctive room types, such as the Horizon Suite, inspired by spa and wellness concepts, and the Family Suite, designed for families with young children, featuring a kitchenette and a children’s room with bunk beds, a bookshelf of storybooks, and exclusively curated Adventure Packs.

In February, the Paiza Sky Club on the 55th floor of Tower 2 is set to open. This new executive club lounge will feature a tea vault, bespoke whisky bar, private liquor locker, garden conservatory, and buffet spreads prepared by top chefs in open kitchens.

Upon completion of the transformation of all three hotel towers, Marina Bay Sands will boast a total of 1,850 luxuriously refurbished rooms, including nearly 770 suites.
