Marina Bay Sands’ Lunar New Year light up event will be happening on 18 January 2023, Wednesday, 7.30pm at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. 

This Lunar New Year, Marina Bay Sands will transform into a resplendent Garden of Abundance to embrace the elegance of the Spring Festival. Embellished with larger-than-life peach blossom flowers descending from the high ceiling of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, the Garden of Abundance will also showcase massive leaping bunnies symbolise beauty, prosperity and good spirit in the flourishing Year of the Rabbit. Around the integrated resort, blooming peach blossom trees provide the perfect setting to welcome the season.

The celebrations, including an evening light-up event, will kick off officially on 18 January 2023 at 7.30pm at Grand Colonnade of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. The dazzling display will feature the light up of golden bunnies and giant pink petals, along with a lion dance performance perfected to the rhythm and percussion of an ensemble of 18 drummers. With generous greetings and bountiful blessings all around, visitors are encouraged to join in the cheer and usher in the festivities with their loved ones. 

Visitors can choose from a plethora of dining experiences at Marina Bay Sands to reunite and bond with their loved ones during this special time of the year. 

Toss to prosperity and kickstart reunion celebrations with Imperial Treasure’s Fatt Choy Yu Sheng. The specially curated Fatt Choy Hamachi Yu Sheng in ‘Soon Tak’ style comprises glistening slices of fresh Hamachi sashimi, julienned vegetables, white radish, fried shredded yam, crunchy nuts and a special sauce to douse. Choose from four variations which include Abalone, Hamachi, Smoked Salmon and Vegetarian, from S$38.80++ for both dine-in and takeaway orders. Bask in the festivities while savouring rich and authentic flavours of Punjab Grill’s Special Lunar New Year Menu. Inspired by gourmet metropolises, explore an epicurean reunion featuring the aromatic Murgh Chooza Makhani, the restaurant’s special butter chicken made with young spring chicken. Available on 21 and 22 January 2023 from S$110++, the main course will be presented alongside Coastal Prawn Curry, Dal Punjab Grill, basmati rice and bread basket among other delectable dishes such as Tandoor Grilled Barramundi Fish Tikka, Lamb Kofta and Tamatari Murgh Tikka. This year, the highly anticipated Disney’s Frozen The Hit Broadway Musical will make its Southeast Asian debut at Sands Theatre – its only stop in the region – for a limited run from 5 February to 19 March 2023.
