The X Concept Trilogy by Genesis was unveiled at the prestigious Dubai Opera on February 8th, 2023. The exclusive event was attended by VIPs and gave the public a glimpse into Genesis’ experimentation with an “open-door moment.”
Showcasing the brand’s versatility in design, the reveal showcased all three concepts, the Genesis X Concept, the Genesis X Speedium Coupe, and the Genesis X Convertible, highlighting the company’s innovative approach.
The evening was kicked off by Omar Al-Zubaidi, Head of Genesis Middle East & Africa, followed by a panel discussion on the design and vision for Genesis led by Graeme Russell, Chief Brand Officer, and Luc Donckerwolke, Group Chief Creative Officer.
The Genesis X Concept Trilogy is a demonstration of the brand’s unparalleled design and development capabilities, breaking free from typology. The ‘X’ symbolizes a “hidden hero” and represents the exploration of the brand’s vast design potentials.

The guests were treated to a night of stunning performances, creative cuisine, and drinks, making it a night to remember for all who attended.
The Genesis X Concept was the first to be unveiled, making its grand appearance in Los Angeles in March of 2021. This electric-based Gran Turismo concept car showcases Genesis’ Athletic Elegance design language, highlighting the brand’s vision of sustainable luxury.
Next in the trilogy came the Genesis X Speedium Coupe, which demonstrated the brand’s signature design in a more innovative manner. This concept was inspired by the love of motorsports, prioritizing the emotional aspect of driving in the electric age. The concept is also known for the progression of the Genesis Crest Grille, showcasing its electric powertrain.
Completing the trilogy, the X Convertible elevates the emotional scale even further. This concept provides a level of freedom of expression and heightened sensory experience with its open roof, offering a direct connection to the surrounding environment.
