Tokyo Disney Resort will hold the new event “Disney Story Beyond” for the first time. The first installment will be held from Thursday, January 26, 2023 to Friday, March 31, 2023, with the theme of the Tokyo Disneyland attraction “Haunted Mansion”.
“Disney Story Beyond” is a new event based on areas and attractions within Tokyo Disney Resort. The “story” is related to the area and attractions through attractive characters, events, and goods.
The theme of the first installment is Tokyo Disneyland’s popular attraction “Haunted Mansion”. At the time of the event, “new characters” will appear, such as a bride in a wedding dress that guests will encounter during the attraction experience and three ghosts that will hitchhike on the guest’s vehicle.
In the park, a mystery-solving program using a social networking service will be held for the first time. When you read the QR code on the mystery-solving program guide sold at the product facility, LINE will start up and the mystery-solving program will start. Along with solving puzzles while walking around the park, you can also touch on a more detailed profile of a new character that can only be known through this program.
A photo experience using AR is also available. When you launch the camera from the special site around “Haunted Mansion”, the characters will appear in the camera and you can take a picture with them.
At Tokyo Disney Resort, there will be limited edition merchandise from Haunted Mansion. The bag charms and pin badges are designed so that you don’t know which design is inside until you open them, so you can enjoy the excitement until you open them. In addition, they will have a wide variety of tableware such as clear holders, mini towels, mugs, and cutlery sets.
