This October, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are gearing up to transport guests into the magical world of Wicked, the highly anticipated film from Universal Pictures, hitting theaters on November 22. Both theme parks are rolling out brand-new immersive experiences and exclusive merchandise, giving fans a chance to step into the story like never before.
Each park will offer its own unique Wicked adventure, designed to bring the enchanting world to life. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering the magic for the first time, you’ll be able to embrace your love for Wicked through themed fashion, accessories, and exciting interactive moments.
At Universal Orlando Resort, starting in late October, guests can visit Wicked: The Experience. Located near the front gate, in the former UNIVRS store and adjacent areas, this exclusive attraction will take visitors on a journey down the yellow brick road, through iconic settings like Shiz University and the Emerald City. Expect to see stunning costumes and props from the film, as well as immersive scenes that bring some of the movie’s most unforgettable moments to life.
Over at Universal Studios Hollywood, also beginning in late October, the Feature Presentation store and UNIVRS store at Universal CityWalk will be transformed into captivating Wicked experiences. Feature Presentation will showcase props from the film, while inside the park, an exciting new photo op will be available. As the film’s release date approaches, additional displays, including costumes from the movie, will be featured at the Universal Cinema at Universal CityWalk.
In true Universal style, themed food will be part of the fun too. Both parks, as well as Voodoo Doughnut and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal CityWalk, will offer special Wicked-inspired treats for a limited time.
At the heart of these experiences is the retail magic. Guests can explore a wide variety of exclusive Wicked-themed merchandise, from stylish apparel and home goods to toys and accessories, at both parks and CityWalk locations. Some highlights include:
- The Shiz University collection, featuring back-to-school must-haves like a Spirit Jersey, duffle bag, tumbler, and more, inspired by the school where Glinda and Elphaba first meet.
- A special collection created by Studio MinaLima, offering intricate designs on apparel, accessories, home goods, and stationery.
- Wicked logo merchandise, including hats, totes, mugs, and notebooks, perfect for fans wanting to show off their love for the film.
Other offerings will include Mattel fashion dolls, Funko Pops! of beloved characters, LEGO sets inspired by the Land of Oz, Loungefly bags, and cosplay and prop replicas from The Noble Collection.
And if that’s not enough, Wicked celebrations are also headed to Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios Japan, set to launch later this year and into early next year. It’s a truly global celebration of all things Wicked!
