MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show presents its 3rd edition, which will take place from June 16th to June 18th, 2023, with a calendar full of dynamic events and novelties: test drives of all engines inside the National Autodrome of Monza and an exhibition hub in Milan’s Piazza Duomo, which will also be an information point for visitors and enthusiasts who want to know the program and events.

MIMO will be a dynamic three-day event that will color the paddocks, the boxes, the high-speed ring, and the Formula 1 track of the National Autodrome of Monza, and will allow the public to try out all the novelties proposed by the over 40 automotive and motorcycle brands present. Visitors can test the models on a dedicated 4 km test drive circuit that includes a passage on the ancient elevated sections, and chicanes that allow simulating different conditions of use of the vehicle and test steering and suspensions.

In the 3rd edition of MIMO, there will also be a focus on Electric and Plug-in Hybrid Cars, an in-depth study of “plugged” models. The area, located on the straight of the high-speed ring, will include an educational section for potential customers, with a stopover in the parking area where they will test the various charging possibilities offered, becoming familiar with the connection-disconnection operations of the connector to the charging stations and with the issues related to the daily management of electric and plug-in hybrid models.

Key highlights of the upcoming event:

Friday, June 16, will host two major events, the Premiere Parade and the Monzanapolis, both parades that will cover the 10 km total distance of the Formula 1 track and the high-speed oval, representing the present and the past of motor racing. The Premiere Parade is the parade that at 4.30 pm will see representatives of car manufacturers driving their new models, accompanied by journalists, testimonials, sportsmen, and ambassadors. At 7 pm, it will be time for the Monzanapolis, the celebration of the union of the two circuits that took place for the last time in 1961 and which will see the participation of collectors and owners of Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren, Bentley, Dallara, Porsche, and Lotus.

Saturday, June 17, will be the day dedicated to clubs and meetings, including the celebratory parade for the 120 years of ACI Milan. The parade will start from the historic headquarters in Corso Venezia in Milan, where the most iconic models in the history of motoring will gather before heading to the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, where they will parade on the 10 km united circuits.

Sunday, June 18, will be the day of the Indy Autonomous Challenge with the final at 2 pm. For the first time in Europe, and on a circuit with curves and braking zones, the competition of autonomous racing cars without a pilot was programmed by teams made up of universities and research centers from all over the world.
