Registrations are officially open to participate in the MIMO 1000 Miglia Trophy, an event on the calendar of the MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show which is on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
On that date, the Trofeo MIMO 1000 Miglia will give owners of supercars and hypercars the opportunity to experience the 1000 Miglia firsthand: they will take part in the same timed special trial that the crews of the 40th edition of the 1000 Miglia will face just a few hours before in the Temple of Speed, the Monza Autodrome.
The initiative, organized by MIMO Milano Monza Motor Show in collaboration with 1000 Miglia, will bring the participants among the novelties of the car manufacturers exhibited in the pits of the Monza Autodrome, and will give them a VIP Pass to attend the 40th edition of the 1000 Miglia.
After the passage of the last crews, the participants in the Trofeo MIMO 1000 Miglia will warm up their engines on the historic sopraelevata and compete for the Trofeo on the track. The winners will be awarded during the dinner organized inside the Monza Autodrome.
There are three starting regions defined for the dynamic MIMO event: Piedmont, Emilia Romagna and Lombardy, the three regions that have automotive in their DNA and that with MIMO and the Centenary of the Monza racetrack will ideally be united in a one major event, a national celebration of motoring passion. Turin, Varano de ‘Melegari – home of the Dallara Academy – and Milan are the meeting points for collectors.
Considering the limited number of cars allowed to participate in the activities, it will be necessary to send your registration by Saturday, April 30, 2022.
On Saturday, June 18, collectors and owners of supercars and hypercars will be able to depart for the Monza Autodrome event from piazza Vittorio Veneto for accreditation procedures, followed by a breakfast offered to all participants. At 11 am the parade will start, passing through the city center, from piazza Vittorio Veneto to via Roma, then continue to piazza Castello and Giardini Reali, arriving in Monza.
At 1:30 pm all participating cars will be exhibited around the fountain of Villa Reale in Monza. At 3 pm all crews will enter the Autodrome to watch the 1000 Miglia and to the exhibition of the novelties of the brands participating in MIMO, and then get back to driving at 5 pm for the parade and the Trofeo MIMO 1000 Miglia.
To enter the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, you will need to have the MIMO Pass, a free electronic ticket to access and view the cars.
