Genesis revealed GV60 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia

GV60, the first-ever dedicated electric vehicle from Genesis, was revealed at an event at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) on August 31, 2022.   Along with a preview of the Electrified GV70 SUV and Electrified G80 sedan, the Genesis X Speedium Coupe concept car also made its Australian debut at the event.

Genesis X Speedium Coupe concept showcased a more progressive interpretation of Genesis’ design philosophy, “Athletic Elegance,” the concept car provides a glimpse of what to expect from Genesis’ next wave of electric vehicles.

Guests who attended the evening include Abbey Gelmi, Benji Marshall, Jono Castanao, David Caon, Mitch Orr, Ksenija Lukich and Kate Fowler.  Building on the evening’s theme, the electronic duo Flight Facilities headlined the evening with an electrifying performance of their global hits. A further highlight was the giant immersive installation by Jesse Woolston, a multimedia artist and composer hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, whose visual art explores the incandescence of shapeshifting geometry. 

Genesis’ trio of electric vehicles (GV60, Electrified GV70 and Electrified G80) will be available in Australian showrooms from September 2022.
