In its pursuit of innovation, the ninth generation of the Toyota Camry is unveiled with a revamped appearance, heightened performance, and a Hybrid powertrain tailored for mobility. Manufactured and conceived in the United States, the latest Camry enhances the qualities that have made it the best-selling sedan in the U.S., offering increased power, a visually appealing design, feature-rich convenience, and adept handling. As part of Toyota’s commitment to electrification, the 2025 Toyota Camry will be exclusively available as a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), delivering a blend of power and fuel efficiency for daily commuting.

The heart of the Camry is fueled by Toyota’s inaugural pairing of a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine with the fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5). This dynamic HEV boasts a standard 225 net combined horsepower on Front Wheel Drive (FWD) models and 232HP on Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) equipped models, blending the engine’s power with two electric motors. Engineers have fine-tuned the HEV system for lower speeds, reducing engine RPMs and increasing power from the traction battery, ensuring satisfying acceleration and torque. The “Beyond Zero” badge signifies Toyota’s commitment to carbon emission reduction and a carbon-neutral future.

For the first time in a Camry Hybrid, Toyota introduces the Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system across all grades. This system provides additional traction when required, especially in inclement weather or during cornering, powered by a dedicated rear electric drive motor generator.

Anticipated to hit Toyota dealerships in the Spring of 2024, the ninth generation Camry, crafted by CALTY’s studios in Newport Beach, California, and Ann Arbor, Michigan, introduces a sleeker, athletic design to the popular sedan. The hammerhead front fascia and slim LED headlights across all grades contribute to a fresh and clean appearance. The SE and XSE grades showcase sporty exterior styling with unique aerodynamic elements, while the XSE stands out with a color-matched front grille and distinctive alloy wheels.

Smart-key with push-to-start button, dual-zone automatic climate control, and optional front heated and ventilated seats are some of the standard offerings. The fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5) provides a more controllable and engaging driving experience, coupled with the Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system for improved stability and handling.

The Camry’s retuned suspension enhances responsiveness and agile handling, providing a thrilling experience on winding roads. With a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and driver satisfaction, the 2025 Toyota Camry aims to maintain its legacy as a leading sedan in the automotive market.
