As darkness falls over the Lule River and the first snow dusts the landscape, Arctic Bath in Harads, Swedish Lapland, once again welcomes guests for Fire & Ice. Now in its third year, the retreat has become a celebrated tradition, offering a weekend where contrasts converge: icy river dips paired with steaming sauna rituals, serene moments in nature alongside convivial gatherings at the table, and the promise of both restoration and renewed energy. This year’s retreat takes place from 21 to 23 November 2025.

Fire & Ice captures the essence of Arctic Bath, a destination defined by its harmonious contrasts. Thoughtful architecture blends with the surrounding Arctic landscape while locally inspired cuisine and attentive hospitality ensure guests feel at home. The retreat encourages immersion in both the natural environment and mindful practices, highlighting the unique interplay of warmth and cold, relaxation and vitality.

This year, the program is enriched through collaboration with Petra Nilsson, founder of Master Yoga Sweden. Nilsson has led numerous highly regarded retreats at Arctic Bath and now joins as co-host for Fire & Ice. Since 2021, Arctic Bath and Master Yoga Sweden have cultivated a meaningful partnership, and this retreat represents a natural evolution of their collaboration.

Fire & Ice welcomes both new and returning guests. No prior experience in cold bathing or yoga is required, allowing participants to engage at their own pace.
