Bellagio’s Conservatory Is a Fairytale Come to Life This Spring

This spring, Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens becomes something altogether otherworldly. Open through June 6, “Springtime Symphony: Music in Motion” transforms the Conservatory into a living, breathing storybook where petals sway to an unheard melody, light bends through jeweled glass and the very air hums with enchantment. Conceived by designer Ed Libby and coaxed into existence by Bellagio’s Horticulture team, the display is equal parts garden and theater, a place where beauty does not simply sit still but spins, soars and dances.

“Spring has a way of turning even the smallest details into something magical,” said Libby. “We are always looking for new ways to raise the bar and evolve the guest experience, and this display brings more movement and life to the garden than ever before. As guests wander through, every element, from stained glass to carousel horses, feels like it is part of a story waiting to be told.”

West Bed

The West Bed is a fever dream of light and opulence. Jewel-toned stained glass catches and scatters the glow, while a grand Fabergé egg commands the space as its undeniable centerpiece, its ornate shell seemingly alive as blooms and butterflies appear to rise from within. A towering 36-foot hand-painted stained-glass window soars overhead, depicting butterflies, cascading florals and the silhouette of a fairytale castle suspended in color. Two companion eggs in blush and violet orbit the showpiece like planets in a gilded solar system. Nearby, a flower-crowned gazebo shelters The Garden Table, where guests can dine within the display itself, wrapped in fragrance and living color.

North Bed

At the center of the North Bed, Catrina the ballerina performs her eternal pirouette atop a gilded music box, forever mid-twirl, forever graceful. Gentle fountains murmur at her feet while a majestic arch of pastel blooms frames her like a painting that refuses to stay still. A turning golden key and handwritten sheet music speak to the poetry of the moment, as if the garden itself composed the score. Behind LED screens, lavender fields stretch toward an imagined horizon, and drifting through it all is a subtle perfume of peach, iris, white currant and sandalwood, a scent as carefully crafted as the scene it inhabits. Guests wishing to carry the memory home can find Music Box Dancer, a bespoke candle, at the Giardini Store.

East Bed

The East Bed belongs to creatures in flight. A gleaming gilded birdcage presides over the space with quiet majesty, and guests are invited to pass beneath it along a winding stone path, stepping briefly inside the display rather than simply observing it. Above, butterflies and songbirds drift without urgency while statuesque daffodils and roses in the softest pinks and purples rise around them, the whole scene suspended in that perfect, breathless moment just before full bloom.

South Bed

The South Bed pulses with perpetual motion. A rosy carousel wrapped in trailing roses and trimmed in gold turns without end, its three white horses prancing in elegant, ceaseless rhythm beneath a ceiling draped in floral pomanders. Four fountains cascade into a tranquil pond below, their reflections shimmering among colorful blossoms and sculpted topiaries. And hovering at the edge of it all, a jeweled hummingbird trembles mid-flight, a small, perfect reminder that the most breathtaking things rarely hold still.

The Garden Table

For those who wish to linger, The Garden Table offers something rare: the chance to dine inside a work of art. Nestled within a beautifully adorned gazebo at the heart of the Conservatory, the experience features a seasonal brunch crafted by Sadelle’s, priced at $135 per person and served from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is not simply a meal. It is a moment.

“Springtime Symphony” 2026 Spring Display by the Numbers

35,000 roses bloom throughout the display. 22,000 potted plants and flowers are woven into the gardens. 2,000 fresh-cut carnations form the pansy flower cradled beneath the hummingbird. 100 team members worked in tireless devotion to bring the vision to life. The stained-glass window in the West Bed ascends 36 feet toward the sky. Four regal Bellagio flags fly above the North Bed. Three white horses circle the South Bed carousel in perpetual spring. Two jeweled hummingbirds grace the display from wing to wing.

Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is complimentary and open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
