The new E-Class is a car that combines sportiness, high quality, and digital technology in its interior. These three attributes make the car unique in its class. In the past, the combination of digital and analog luxury was only available in top-of-the-range models, but now it’s available in the E-Class.

The new E-Class features newly designed icons on its screens, making it easier for drivers to recognize them intuitively. The instrument panel shapes the digital experience inside the car. If you choose the optional front passenger screen, the MBUX Superscreen’s large glass surface extends to the central display. The high-resolution instrument cluster display is also in the driver’s field of vision, visually detached from the central display.

The contour of the cover glass has a dynamic design, extending downwards for the central display and becoming flat towards the outer edges. A narrow nozzle band connects the central nozzle with the outer nozzles, forming a single unit. Models without a passenger display feature a large trim element that extends to the center, creating the impression of a floating central display.

The front section of the instrument panel is illuminated by the light strip of Active Ambient Lighting, creating a spacious feeling inside the car. The door panels merge with the collar of the instrument panel to form a single unit, and the control island in the upper section of the door panels matches the look of the glass surfaces of the screens.

The center console is designed as a homogeneous unit and merges in a straight line into the lower section of the instrument panel. The console features a storage compartment with a lid and cup holders and a soft-padded armrest in the rear section. USB ports are located in the compartment below.

The seats have an elegant flow and seem to float above the basic body of the seat thanks to their layer design. If the customer chooses leather upholstery, the seats are designed with elaborate longitudinal fluting, created in individual panels. The extensive range of interior colors and trims conveys a technoid character, with numerous interior color combinations and trims with innovative, natural, or technoid surfaces.

The main icons on the central and optional passenger displays are simpler and color-coded to match smartphone tiles, making them easier for drivers to recognize. The graphics of the screens can be individualized with two display styles and three modes, allowing the driver to choose between a classic or sporty style.
