Opening on February 12, 2026, in Tokyo’s quietly chic Daikanyama district, Dior unveils its newest destination: the Dior Bamboo Pavilion, a concept store that fuses fashion, architecture, art, and gastronomy into one immersive expression of the house’s universe.

Inspired by Japan’s bamboo forests, the pavilion reimagines the façade of Dior’s legendary 30 Montaigne in Paris as a shimmering structure of golden bamboo. Spanning more than 1,800 square meters, the building commands attention with both scale and serenity, a luminous landmark rising within one of Tokyo’s most refined neighborhoods.

Encircling the gilded architecture is a contemplative garden conceived under the theme of Zen by renowned plant hunter Seijun Nishihata. A tranquil pond populated by glass koi glimmers among layered greenery, while art and nature quietly intertwine throughout the grounds. As night falls, the pavilion transforms once again, its illuminated exterior casting a dreamlike glow that feels almost cinematic.

Inside, the boutique unfolds as a study in elevated craftsmanship. Star and Versailles-style parquet flooring meets ceilings and walls finished in delicate washi paper, creating a dialogue between French heritage and Japanese artistry. The interior’s botanical installations are overseen by celebrated flower artist Azuma Makoto, known for his collaborations with Dior in fragrance, infusing the space with living sculpture. Upon entry, visitors are welcomed into a sweeping central salon anchored by a monumental lantern adorned with the house’s medallion motif. Around it, torsos dressed in the season’s icon looks stand like quiet sentinels of style.

Radiating from the central space are six distinct rooms, each curated with intention. Men’s and women’s ready-to-wear by Jonathan Anderson are presented alongside leather goods, shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry. A made-to-measure salon offers a more intimate shopping experience, while Café Dior introduces a refined pause between discoveries.

To the left of the entrance, a room dedicated to the Dior Book Tote celebrates the house’s iconic carryall. An entire wall is lined with new iterations, from designs inspired by book titles to pieces embellished with embroidery and white lace. Charms and silk scarves invite personalization, encouraging clients to create a design uniquely their own.

The men’s salon adopts a serene beige palette, presenting ready-to-wear staples such as shirts and jackets alongside tote and messenger bags accented with the signature CD buckle. Sneakers, small leather goods, men’s jewelry, and ties round out the offering, making it an ideal destination for considered gifting.

In another gallery-like space, Dior’s most iconic leather creations take center stage. Lady Dior, Dior Toujours, and the Saddle bag appear in an array of formats, from totes to shoulder bags and structured handbags, offering both heritage and modernity in equal measure.

A separate room devoted to small leather goods and jewelry transforms accessories into objets d’art. Wallets, key cases, micro bags worn like bijoux, belts, scarves, and finely crafted jewelry are displayed across the walls, inviting guests to browse as though moving through an exhibition.

Perhaps most evocative is the room wrapped in washi walls, where the Maison’s legacy is honored through emblematic silhouettes. Jonathan Anderson’s reinterpretations of the Bar suit and the Junon dress stand as contemporary tributes to Dior’s storied past. The Dior Cigar bag, available exclusively at this location, underscores the pavilion’s sense of rarity. Even the fitting rooms are immersive, their walls embroidered with the house’s iconic Toile de Jouy motif, ensuring that luxury lingers through every detail.

To mark the opening, Dior introduces a series of limited-edition pieces. Among them, a Dior Book Tote and bi-fold card holder featuring the title of James Joyce’s Ulysses stand out. Rendered in the novel’s vivid blue with white embroidery of the title and Dior logo, the pieces feel literary and collectible.

Jonathan Anderson’s newly designed Dior Saltwind sneakers make their debut here as well. With graphic embroidery and an effortless ease, they strike a balance between casual nonchalance and the refined codes of the house.

The new Dior Medallion line also enters the spotlight, drawing inspiration from feminine bows and 18th-century architectural moldings. Smooth calfskin bi-fold wallets and card cases are embossed with elegant motifs, translating classical references into modern essentials.

Completing the experience is Café Dior, where gastronomy meets the French art de vivre. Helmed by Anne-Sophie Pic, the most Michelin-starred female chef in the world, the café offers an exclusive menu available only at this address. Set against floral installations and bathed in soft light, it is a space designed for lingering, where fashion and cuisine coexist in effortless harmony.

With its fusion of French savoir-faire and Japanese sensibility, the Dior Bamboo Pavilion signals more than a store opening. It is a destination that reframes retail as ritual and architecture as an extension of couture.
