Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils a pair of enchanting additions to the Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day collection. Elevating the Rendez-Vous Dazzling concept to the realm of High Jewellery, the brand introduces two exquisite timepieces that feature a fully diamond-adorned dial, perfectly complementing the bezel’s twin circles of radiant diamonds – a distinctive hallmark of the Rendez-Vous Dazzling line. The artistic touch continues with a choice between a vivid red alligator strap or a pink gold bracelet, lavishly embellished with diamonds.

This unveiling marks a significant showcase for the exceptional gem-setting craftsmanship of the Métiers Rares™ Workshop. Debuting the inclusion of a fully diamond-studded dial in the Rendez-Vous Dazzling collection, these new timepieces showcase concentric circles of grain-set diamonds, gracefully emanating from the dial’s center. The mesmerizing pattern, meticulously formed with numerous stones anchored by delicate golden beads, speaks volumes of the precision and mastery possessed by the skilled gem-setters at the Métiers Rares™ Workshop. A total of 590 diamonds, approximately equivalent to 4.67 carats, bedeck the dial and case, reflecting an arduous 58-hour gem-setting endeavor.

The new Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day model comes with a choice between a lustrous alligator strap in vivid red, which strikingly contrasts the shimmering diamonds, and a High Jewellery pink gold bracelet. The bracelet, a design that initially graced the Rendez-Vous Dazzling Shooting Star in 2022, showcases diamond-studded lozenge-shaped links seamlessly intertwined like a supple ribbon embracing the wrist. This intricate embellishment involves an additional 80 hours of gem-setting, culminating in 436 diamonds (approximately 4.87 carats) adorning the links, thus magnifying the High Jewellery option to a grand total of 1,026 diamonds, approximately 9.54 carats.

The convergence of feminine aesthetics and mechanical sophistication forms the essence of the Rendez-Vous collection, a constant source of inspiration for both Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmakers and the artisans of the Manufacture’s Métiers Rares™ Workshop since its inception in 2012. Among its myriad watchmaking feats, the Night & Day complication stands out, capturing the rhythmic 24-hour cycle of daylight and darkness through an enchanting display. A mother-of-pearl disc, set within the 36mm case of the Rendez-Vous Dazzling Night & Day, orchestrates the transition, revealing a polished golden sun and a crescent moon set against a starry backdrop.

Nestled within the exquisite case is Calibre 898, an automatic mechanical movement meticulously crafted in-house. The transparent sapphire case-back unveils traditional watchmaking embellishments such as blued screws, circular graining, Côtes de Genève, and a pink gold winding rotor with intricate open-work detailing.

Introduced in 2019, the Rendez-Vous Dazzling collection marries Haute Horlogerie expertise with Jaeger-LeCoultre’s finesse in jewelry craftsmanship. The bezel, adorned with 108 diamonds arranged in dual concentric rings, imparts an ethereal allure due to the claw (or ‘griffe’) setting adopted for the outer ring of 36 stones. Completing the timepiece’s aesthetic, an inverted diamond graces the winding crown, while three diamonds grace each of the four lugs.
