The stellar cast also includes Calah Lane, the Emmy and Peabody Award winner Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, the Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, and the Oscar winner Olivia Colman. The screenplay for “Wonka” is crafted by Simon Farnaby and Paul King, based on a story envisioned by King and the unforgettable characters created by Roald Dahl. Serving as executive producers are Michael Siegel, Cate Adams, Rosie Alison, and Tim Wellspring. King has assembled a team of exceptional artists, including the director of photography Chung-Hoon Chung, the Oscar-nominated production designer Nathan Crowley, the editor Mark Everson, the Oscar-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming, and the composer Joby Talbot. Adding to the film’s enchantment, Neil Hannon of the band The Divine Comedy is creating original songs that will resonate with audiences.
