Sakunami Onsen has 8 kinds of baths to enjoy with 3 private hot springs on the premises.  The resort also has rooms with a private bath with a view.  During your stay, you can spend your time without worrying about your wallet because the accommodation fee includes everything from eating and drinking to activities.

On the first day of arrival, take a break at the all-inclusive cafe.  If you arrive early, until 15:00 when your room is ready, go to the relaxing salon where you can enjoy the four seasons of Satoyama. After changing into the original resort wear, put the bath set such as a towel in the “Kago-chan” which is convenient to carry around in the bath, and go on a tour of the baths.

The four open-air baths have different water temperatures (standing bath, river bath, clear stream bath, and view bath).  The corridor that connects the public bath and the open-air bath is colored with a different scenery every time you come.  After enjoying the hot springs, you can go and relax at the Salon.  Accompanied by freshly ground coffee, gelato, and other snacks, you can take a break while enjoying the beauty of the four seasons, and read a book by the fireplace before going to bed.

In the evening, you can enjoy the sound and scent of firewood while watching the flames burning in the fireplace. A glass of wine or a cup of herbal tea at night is nice to have before a good night’s sleep. For those who love to read, the resort’s library is where you can freely enjoy magazines and books selected by the staff. Or you can visit the Hirose River open-air bath, listen to the murmuring of the quiet and calm river, and spend the night.  At the Shikanozoki no Yu, you can lay down on a hot water pillow while gazing at Sakunami’s starry sky.

On your second day, wake up early in the morning and take a bath.  If you take a long bath in lukewarm water while basking in the morning sun, your body will gradually relax. There are also replacement bath towels in front of the large public bath so that you can enjoy a tour of the hot springs.

The resort also has Mugwort Herb Mist Sauna.  Yomogi is a Japanese herb that has been used as a medicinal herb since ancient times. The wormwood herb mist sauna is great for beautiful skin and relaxation. It is characterized by the active ingredients being absorbed from the inside of the body by the “suction bath” in which the ingredients of hot springs and “Mugwort” are inhaled through the mouth and nose. It is said to be optimal for activating cells, beautifying the skin, purifying blood, preventing obesity, and improving natural healing power.
